COSRX 6 Peptide Collagen Booster Serum 150ml, Face Toner with Niacinamide

I've been using this every morning for over two years, and it's one of the few skincare products I've consistently repurchased. I apply it straight after my shower as the first step in my routine, before anything else. It's lightweight, absorbs quickly and doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky, so it's easy to layer the rest of my skincare on top. I'm almost 49, and people are often surprised when I tell them my age because I have very few wrinkles. Obviously no single product can take all the credit, but I do think this has played a part. My skin feels much more hydrated and has a plumper look, which helps soften the appearance of fine lines. It gives my skin a healthy, fresh look without feeling heavy, and I like that it combines hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid with niacinamide, so my skin feels moisturised while also looking more even over time. A little goes a long way, so one bottle lasts me quite a while. There are plenty of skincare products I've tried and never bought again, but after more than two years this has become a permanent part of my morning routine, which probably says more than anything else.

Love this product! After washing my face with cleanser and water, i pat my face dry, then use a layer or 2 of skin toner. Then I apply this serum. It rubs in nicely to your face. It leaves your face feeling fresh and adds a light glow. Sometimes I add another serum to the product, or if I'm in a rush I add moisturizer to the serum and apply both together. The glow will remain on your skin throughout the day. The glow is gentle. (and not to be mixed up with looking greasy or shiny from products that are too heavy or not rubbed into the skin properly) No stickiness noticed from this product, and it feels light and gentle on your face. It seems to have evened out my skin tone and my skin feels adequately hydrated after I use it. Initially i thought it was a little pricy for the product, but it is a large bottle and is lasting very well. I use 3 pumps worth each time I use it. So I would say it is priced fairly. My skin received several compliments when I wear this serum because of the gentle glow, plumpness and hydration factors. I have never worn a lot of make up throughout my life, but this serum could hopefully give you the confidence to also have a more natural look. I originally purchased because I noticed my skin seemed dryer - possibly due to the menopause. I am 56 years old, and would recommend this product for mature skin.

I use this after cleansing as it apparently helps the efficacy of other serums and toners and gives me a glass effect. It’s super watery but it hydrates the skin quickly and dries quickly as well. I sometimes use this and then put on a peptide face mask for extra peptide goodness. It is quite expensive but I buy it on sale and honestly it seems to go on forever so I do think I get bang for my buck. I have noticed a difference in my skin tone and softness so I will carry one and buy again. As with all these things, long-term use and consistency is key and it may not work for everyone, but I love it’s clean feel and hydration/glass effect.

Absolutely love this as a first layer serum, it contains HA so you can skip that and go straight for this, full of skin loving peptides, so light on the skin, large bottle but lasts absolutely ages, absorbs very fast due to it being watery but this is good as you can then layer thicker serums on top. I’ve spent a fortune on skincare products now I’m 49 and really need to look after my skin now. When you are young a good moisturiser is all that’s needed and possibly this as a first step but as you get older your skin needs more attention and this product ticks all the right boxes. It’s expensive but lasts a long time so if you break it down it’s great value for money. I would love if they added matraxyl into this serum/toner as I’m having to use a separate serum for that afterwards. I’m going to start pairing this with snail mucin and see if it makes a difference but been using a good while now and I can definitely see results, my skin is hydrated and more even tone and looking plumper. With skincare try just adding one new product at a time so you can see the real results. That’s what I did with this product and the results are amazing and worth every penny. Don’t be put off by the watery consistency it just means it absorbs faster. You also don’t need a lot 2 pumps is more than enough (sometimes we see a big bottle and think we need to use a lot but really you don’t. I’ve been using a good while now and there’s still loads left!!! Definitely recommend especially for mature skin. I have sensitive skin and have had no issues whatsoever. It’s one of my go to products now.

I hesitated before buying this because of the large size and the fact that it’s Korean skincare — which can feel very different from Western products. But I’m glad I tried it! This serum (or essence, it feels somewhere in between) is quite watery in texture, but not runny like water. It spreads easily and you only need a small amount, so the big bottle will last a long time. However — and this is key — it takes time to absorb. I usually wait 5 to 10 minutes before applying anything on top, otherwise the next layer (like cream) just slides off and the skin doesn’t feel as smooth. But if you wait, the results are absolutely worth it. My skin feels incredibly soft — almost baby-skin level. It hydrates deeply, brightens the tone, and improves texture. It even seems to have a mild evening/brightening effect. No irritation at all on my very sensitive skin. I checked the ingredients on the Yuka app and it scored 100/100 — no harmful or problematic components. There’s no noticeable scent, which I appreciate. The formula may contain some synthetics, but nothing that caused any reactions for me. In short: great value, amazing results, just give it time to do its job. I’m very likely to repurchase once I finish this bottle.

Found this recommended on many tik tok reels by dermatologists. Yes it’s very light but it soaks in so well on the skin that it feels hydrated and nourished, but never sticky or greasy - the perfect combination! It’s non fragranced so doesn’t irritate my skin. Hasn’t broken me out after using for 3 weeks. My skin is glowing, highly recommend

I bought this on a whim last Prime Day - we’ve all been there! - because I’d liked other COSRX products and thought it was worth a try. At the time I was thinking it was just a toner, but on closer look at how to apply realised it was intended to boost efficacy for the whole skincare routine. I was sceptical, but it seemed worth a go, and as I’m finally starting to look my age I had nothing to lose. I’m genuinely impressed with this. It’s now an essential first step in the routine after cleansing. The watery texture makes it easy to apply quickly across the whole face. I usually only apply one layer, but the manufacturer also suggests layering, which I might try if I don’t have a serum to add into the mix. Applying just this plus a moisturiser leads to lovely soft skin, more so than with moisturiser alone as I did a side by side test to see: I’m a nerd, sorry. At night time, I pair this with a couple of Beauty of Joseon products: the revive eye cream and the revive moisturiser, both of which contain either retinal or retinol. Together they make a pretty unbeatable routine and I’m finding my skin smoother and more radiant the more I stick to it, more so than had I not used the peptide booster. Despite the watery texture, a bottle of this lasts ages. But I will be buying it again because I don’t ever want to run out.

Not easy to apply as it is very watery and most lands on the floor. Pumping it onto my hands and then trying to get most of it onto my face is amusing. Will use it up by putting it onto a tissue and using it as a cooling wet wipe!!
