It used to be so easy to put any foundation or bb cream, on and just go, let’s just say we cannot do that anymore! I have very dry fair, cool toned skin with redness. So covering that while still hydrating my skin is extremely hard, even with bb and cc creams or tinted moisturizers. I have found the majority of them lean more warm toned and even the lightest, which makes me look orange. From cakey to orange, it’s just not a great situation. Whole I have dry skin, it really isn’t bad but I want to even out my skin tone because of redness and dry skin. I was definitely influenced by TikTok with this product, but let me tell you that it does exactly what it says it does. It instantly removes the majority of the redness in my face, while keeping it protected from the sun and evens out my skin tone. I feel like it is also working to resolve the overall issue of redness too. It is expensive, but from what I seen, it lives up to the hype. I haven’t tried it under a cc cream or foundation, but using it with some blush, concealer, and bronzer, definitely works! I also like that I can use my HSA for it too! Review: Nice! - This sunscreen is gentle, lightweight, and perfect for sensitive skin. It blends in better than most mineral sunscreens I’ve tried (no heavy white cast) and it also feels soothing on the skin. The zinc oxide provides strong protection, and it doesn’t clog pores or cause irritation.

Exceptional sunscreen for facial CO2 recovery
I just started using this, I had a CO2 laser treatment done and oh goodness, I am all over protecting my new skin after going through that ordeal. My previous sunscreen that I loved was discontinued so I went looking for something serious…..a well known brand, and it had to be thin like make up going on and very light on the face I had a jar of elta sunscreen that I used for all day exposure and was aware of the reputation of these products but since my face was healing and remained really red I took another look at elta to see if there was one for skin recovery. TA DA, yes……elta MD UV skin recovery was made just for my situation. It has 50 SPF, is zink oxide based and made for sensitive skin. I couldn’t wait for it to get here. I was not disappointed, I knew I wouldn’t be; goes on like a lotion but not heavy and thick like the sunscreens of old. It is very light and only takes a small amount to dot on the face. It comes out green, but that helps counteract the redness of the skin. I will say it’s pretty small, 1.7 oz pump bottle, and yes, pricey. I found it cheapest here on Amazon. But it’s exactly what I needed to replace my old brand, is serious skincare and is so light you hardly know you’re wearing it. After investing that money, and downtime, on a laser treatment I feel confident wearing this, checked all the boxes and I’m very happy with it! Editing my review: I still love this sunscreen, very much……but after looking at other Elta skincare products I was surprised and disappointed to see they don’t have a cruelty free policy. I don’t know how I missed that, that alone decides if I should buy a product or skip it. I can’t in good conscience support a product that relies on animals for testing., that’s a huge deal for me. Took off two stars for this reason

3N1 - Go 2 - Sunscreen - Primer - Glass Skin
Faithful to Elta MD Sunscreen, I have very sensitive, acne mature skin and wear makeup, very compatible as a primer before makeup, blurs out redness and adds a beautiful luminous radiance to the skin, makeup ready canvas.

Doesn’t turn your face green!
Great quality and doesn’t leave a green tint at all! A great replacement for make-up if you just want to get rid of redness and protect your skin in the process!

Great sunscreen
This is now my holy grail sunscreen. It has a slight tint (I have medium olive skin tone) but it blends in very nicely and easily. I use the 2 finger lengths on my face and neck and it still blends very nicely. I have combo skin that’s more on the dry side right now and this works perfectly as a moisturizer and sunscreen. I highly recommend it.

NOT suitable for sensitive skin - caused severe allergic reaction
I'm not sure why or how this product was labeled safe for sensitive skin - it's not. They need to remove that statement from their packaging and send this back to QC. I've never had such a severe reaction to a product before. Day 1: was okay - no reaction, but the product was just "meh." Very tacky/heavy on the skin and the green tint basically fades away as soon as you rub it in. It gave my face a very "wet" look, but I thought maybe that was because I had moisturizer on underneath. Day 2: I tried without moisturizer - just the product on my bare skin - and it still felt tacky and kind of a burning/dry sensation. I still had the "wet" look to my skin and my face was a little bit red. I thought maybe I drank too much coffee and was trying to give the product a chance - stupid me. Day 3: I put on a small amount of moisturizer and then the product. This day it was super tingly and my face became more red right away, I also noticed my eye starting to itch. I washed it off in the afternoon when I noticed my eyelids were starting to retain water. When I washed my face it felt like sandpaper and burned like a chemical peel. For reference, I used Vanicream face wash - which is safe for sensitive skin and does not contain any abrasives. When I went to bed I noticed my eyes were swollen - like if you've been crying really hard for a long time. This morning I woke up to my eyes almost completely swollen shut, my face is swollen from my eyebrows to my mouth, my skin is red, itchy, uncomfortable, irritated and rashy, like hives. I've never had a reaction like this to skincare. I will be reaching out to the manufacture because this product is not safe to be selling to people with sensitive skin. Looking on their website, there are reviews from other people having allergic reactions to this product as well.
