*if healing was easy... everyone would do it.** This matt is absolutely amazing. You do need to get threw the uncomfortable part for it to feel really good, but once you do, you'll wish you got it sooner. I lay on my belly back I rest my forehead, cheeks ect it feels like a sun burn after using but that's truly how you know its working. If anyone is self helping themselves healing childhood trauma or everyday stress, this matt will be your best friend. 100/10 recommend. Im a great believer in acupuncture and massage so decided to give this acupressure mat a go. I wanted to be able to have something at home and also to get a good one so decided to go for a Shakti after doing my research. I love their ethos and I started in the level one, the first step for beginners. At first it can be quite painful. I couldn’t cope with the pain during my first try so I wore a thin layer of clothing, gradually reducing it until I could manage the discomfort. It was uncomfortable initially but the feeling after using it is worth it! It eases tension and pain by encourages blood flow to the area. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and so far it has definitely improved my sleep. Im all for alternative wellness wherever possible and now use it in my daily routine before bedtime. The mat comes with instructions and if you download their app it gives you short videos on how to get the best out of your mat and a great product guarantee! I’d definitely give it a go if you want to try alternative therapy.
