I bought these to complement my meat smoking hobby. I first used them for trimming and then slicing of a brisket. I was impressed. Very sharp and also very attractive knife set...especially for relatively inexpensive cutlery. No more than I smoke meat, I see no reason to purchase a more expensive set. I'm very happy with this purchase.
