Love this vac upgraded to the moping station due to large hard floor area and dog. Vacs and Mops hard floor every night, we empty dirty water evey few days surprising how dirty the water is. Shows how well this system works. Easy to maintain and clean. Our ground floor has a mixer of hard floors, mats and carpeted rooms handles them all and dose a good job. Occasionally it gets stuck on one door mat and it has highlighted the exact area on the app and asked if want to omit it, very clever. One thing is it doesn't seem to recognise when a door is shut to a room and has to bump into it before it realises it can't go in. It dose seem to recognise and avoid our dogs toys and wife's shoes 😄 however sometimes find them under the sofa.

I bought the Deebot X8 Pro Omni for £699. This is the second unit I have had in three months. Both units leaked water during mopping and left visible droplets on the floor. This risks floor damage and creates a slip hazard. The second unit was inspected and repaired by Ecovacs. I received written confirmation that it had been tested. It still leaked on first use after return. Support repeatedly sent generic troubleshooting steps for a known fault, even after photos, video evidence, and a failed repair. I escalated to senior EMEA management and the CEO. I received no response. I also made Ecovacs aware that I have a disability and bought this model to reduce bending and lifting. That was ignored. I was still asked to repeat troubleshooting and handling steps. I am now returning the device to Amazon for a refund. For this price, I expected reliability and competent support. I got neither. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product or the company.

I purchased the Ecovacs Deebot X1 Omni in 2022 and wanted to upgrade when this model was on special offer. So far, very happy with the cleaning quality and the practicality of not needing to remove the pads, since it can detect carpets and clean them in one go. My flooring looks brighter now because the roller cleans much better than the pads did with the previous model. I also like that the cleaning fluid container is separated, and you can add water if needed. X8 Omni is cleaning the corners much better too. Overall worth the money, especially if you have pets.

I have been using this for a few months and loved it as did my wife, I've had a few robot vacuum clearners and this does the best mopping for sure. Now six months on the base station has failed and I have had to jump through endless hoops of emails sending videos and pictures which is near impossible because file size limits. Then I get a shipping label to print out and package it up so it can be sent for repair, problem is they haven't collected it. It's sat there with a shipping label and no one has come for it. These expensive robots are great until they're not. If Ecovacs pull through and actually sort this out Update I am left with nothing at this moment in time Jumped though hoops to raise a return for repair. DHL email with label says they will come to collect.....they don't I then get told to take it to an DHL e-commerce depot, I did that Days later get an email, the repair centre went into administration, can I reclaim the package, and they'll get me a new DHL label to send to a new repair centre. So as it stands now... I have nothing but £600+ hole in my pocket

I've recently tried Switchbot S20, Dreame Aqua 10 and this one (ECOVACS DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI). I was particularly looking for Matter 1.4 smart home support, so I can integrate it with Apple Home and Home Assistant, the X8 has met all of my requirements. Excellent Navigation, vacuuming , mopping, self emptying and mop washing / drying better than the SwichBot or Dreame. I don't think it looks quite as nice as the Dreame Aqua 10, and whilst it's nice to see the level in the tanks it doesn't look so good "on show" in a kitchen etc. My house is effectively on four levels, but it (appears) to only support 3 maps, however I think I should be able to find away around this. Not quite as good at getting over raised thresholds as the Dreame Aqua 10, but I fortunately don't have any high ones. Genuine spares seem quite expensive so I will initially try third party ones. Turned off the voice control, as I only want to use Siri. In summary I highly recommend.

The vacuum is okay, suction wise. However, once it’s mapped out your room, you can’t move anything, as it will confuse the robot. Take ages to vacuum and it does leave some bits, that you have to sweep up, but not biggy. Not quite and after an hour, it does give you a migraine - so do when not in. Mop is rubbish! It uses a small roller and mops the entire floor with that. I thought it would constant go back to its station to wash the head, but it doesn’t. It took 1.5 hours to mop and to be honest, it looked no different! The same stains were there and my white flooring still looked grubby. Someone could have mopped it in 15/20mins and it would have looked mopped. If you want a mop and vacuum, like I do, then this isn’t your product and you don’t need to buy it. Just look at a vacuum and save yourself some money!

Been using it for a week and it’s been great so far. Setup was super simple, everything clicked together easily, and the app made the mapping process effortless. I really like that you can create a map in a different area without having the base nearby. Big plus. Cleaning performance is excellent. No streaks, no marks. I followed other users’ advice and started by vacuuming the carpets first, then doing the mopping run, and that worked perfectly. I still haven’t figured out how to send the robot to clean just a specific zone without selecting the entire room, so that part could be more intuitive. Overall, it’s pretty hard not to love it. Cons: – Doesn’t include any extra dust bags – No cleaning solution in the box

Stopped working after only 4 months. ECOVACS arranged a warranty return, but the device was lost during the process. Nearly 5 weeks later, I'm still waiting for a replacement and keep being told to "be patient" with no clear delivery date. The product may be good when it works, but based on my experience, the after-sales support and warranty service have been disastrous. If you're considering buying a DEEBOT, be prepared to "be patient" if something goes wrong.
