Really nice pepper mill. Super smooth operation. Gives a really fine grind and just a couple twists is all ya need. Beautifully finished. Feels nice in the hand. Best is that it's not plastic like my old one.

Nice wood, well made basic no frills pepper mill. I tried all these gimmicky, kitchen store pepper mills that were all overpriced and sucked. So far this one is exactly what I wanted. Basic, easy to use and just grinds pepper properly. Saw some posts saying the wood discolors or shows wear shortly, but not my experience - I am guessing these folks are sitting it on a damp area or not giving it a basic wipe off when using it - so far perfect for me.

In the past, I searched for the perfect peppermill. I found the perfect from Cole & Mason. I had it for quite a few years. I don't have the consistent grinding that I once I have. It was time to replace. I wanted the same one I had. They don't make that model anymore. I tried a different brand. In 6 months it was broke. I decided to go back to Cole & Mason. I chose this one because it looked like the wooden version of the one I had. Sadly, it is not. What this is: This is a pepper mill and salt mill. What had me was the carbon steel milling mechanism in the peppermill. The price is very good also. Some of their grinders are over $100. These are made in England. Upon receiving it, I was excited until I started trying it out. It is supposed to be adjustable for grinding. On my old one, there is a slider on the bottom of the grinder. Not so on this one. It is adjustable by the top knob. The grinding, in my opinion, goes from fine to finer. As much as I tried it out, I can't have the coarser grind as I do with my old one. The other thing I wasn't crazy about was the inside barrel. It is very small. I would be filling this one constantly. It doesn't even use all the pepper in the vial of pepper that is given in this set. 4 stars: For $50 and for just ordinary at the table grinding, this is great. I know it is going to last me quite a few years. For me though, I need something that can easily change grinding for different recipes that call for fine or coarse ground pepper. Therefore, this does not meet my needs. The small inside barrel is much smaller than I anticipated also. I would be filling it constantly. Not 3 stars because I know Cole & Mason has a very good product and as long as one just needs it for everyday simple uses, this would work well.

Quality Pepper Grinder! Easy to fill! Easy to adjust the grind from the top! Real materials! Love the wood and metal! Had one like this that lasted many, many years. May have been from the same company. Every one bought since has broke down due to cheap plastic, etc. Love this one!

I've hated all my pepper grinders to date, but this one finally was just what I'd been hoping to find. It is attractive, the right size, easy to use and above all it grinds the pepper in whatever size you desire easily. The mechanism inside is a good quality and from what I can determine should last a long time. Thank you for a decent product made with integrity!

Me gusto mucho este molino de pimienta, primero porque se ve de buena calidad, el mecanismo es de acero, así que espero que me dure muchos años. Se puede ajustar para la molienda, dando como resultado más fina o más granulada según se desee. El diseño es muy bonito, luce elegante y el tamaño es excelente. Cabe decir que el precio también es súper bueno, pues vi exactamente el mismo Modelo y misma medida en una reconocida tienda departamental y allí costaba arriba de 600 pesos y aquí en Amazon lo conseguí en alrededor de 200, una excelente compra.

These are fantastic. They grind salt and pepper well, and look great as a pair in any kitchen. If you're looking for something classy and simple, get these. They even come with tubes of salt and pepper to start you off.

Debo decir que estaba buscando originalmente un molino Peugeot. Hace años tuve uno y quedé prendado de la marca y de la calidad de pieza, sin embargo me fui para atrás con los precios actuales. Muy por arriba de lo que estaba dispuesto a pagar. Esta marca y modelo resultó una maravilla de molino para pimienta. La madera trabajada con un acabado impecable. Muele perfecto al tamiz que uno desea. Superada por mucho la expectativa y por la relación costo-beneficio me salió a un precio excelente.
