Unfortunately, this was a big waste of $40. I was so excited to have a nonalcoholic option because I’m sober curious. I bought the spiced version, which I assumed would taste like fireball and I mixed it with a little bit of ginger ale. This basically just taste like 99% water and 1% whiskey. I do not recommend. I wish I could figure out a way to return an opened bottle of nonalcoholic whiskey by mail.

I read the reviews, watched a few YouTube video reviews, and saw what a “mixed bag” this product was for everyone. Still, I wanted to try it. I do not have any issues with alcohol at all. So I am not trying to replace real whiskey. However, I am not feeling like drinking alcohol at the moment. I have tried NA beers, and they are fantastic. As for this product, TEMPER YOUR EXPECTATIONS!! This is NOT whiskey. That said, the nose is very pleasant. I got cinnamon, honey, spice, and vanilla. The palette was identical to the nose. No, I didn’t get the true whiskey mouthfeel or alcohol burn (of course). Still, I did enjoy it. I am not a cocktail guy. So I just had it neat (no ice). I can see how ice might help, but I didn’t need it. Overall, Kentucky 74 Spiced is enjoyable for what it is: a very nice NA alternative to whiskey.

I read the reviews, people seemed to think it tasted like Fireball (watered down). As a Cinnamon whiskey, I expected a spicy kick to the drink. Cinnamon gum and hard candies (also called fireballs) get the spicy flavor without alcohol, so I expected there to be some here too. Not as much as the Fireball Whiskey, not even as much as the Fireball Malt beverage you can find in gas stations. But no. This has no burn to it at all. Instead, it is just sweet. Sickly sweet even. It's like diluted sugar water, with a hint of cinnamon scent added as an after thought. But that's it. This drink is even sweeter than the cider (non alcoholic) that I picked up to mix it with. If you're looking for a Cinnamon whiskey as an alternate to Fireballs, look elsewhere. This has no burn, just off-tasting sugars.
