What is the real space available for the user? i Need at least 230GB free...

On mine, after reformatting to Apple's HFS+ journaled file system, I had 248,125,304,832 free bytes available. The raw capacity was 248,437,014,528 bytes.

Anyone had this for 3-5 mos or longer and still happy with it? Still working well? Thanks in advance!

Works perfectly and fast. Nice even loading between 21MBPS & 31 MBPS. I t settles in evenly somewhere between these numbers and loads in almost the exact number all across the (in my case) music until they are are all loaded. In my case about 28MBPS. I use NTFS file format. Perhaps exFat may be a little faster of slower, I haven't tried it as It was fine and I didn't want to format the drive just to find out. I did a fast format at the start to leave the drive completely empty as I didn't need locked security. I am 'assuming' it works as advertised. Playback was flawless. Function fallowed fit which was just right from Rxer, to car, to PC. No sloppiness or 'collapsing' when inserting drive. I've found all Sandisk's to be well made, and most important, reliable, for years but this specific model has very little heat build up and 'all in all' is the best I've ever used so far. The exact opposite of a certain brand starting with a 'P' which runs hot and is guaranteed to eventually fail and the loss of about 5600 songs can be devastating. Getting the songs to run in the exact same order as recorded on the CD is a continuous problem and I haven't figured out yet to set that and all USB's seem to do it. I'm fairly sure there is a way but I haven't found the exact way to do this on any brand. Suggested solutions gratefully appreciated. Aside that, this is a winner and at $11.99 new, a very good deal. Slow writing

Works great for everything overall but for what I need it to do it take a long time to transfer stuff. But for reading its normal amount and expected but the unexpected part of this i believe is the writing in to it and it speed to be around 15 mb/s

This is the perfect to make a windows recovery USB, the space, simple plug and use, quick and easy recovery or windows installation makes things so much better to do things yourself without having to bring your 5,000 dollar gaming PC to the shop to have them reinstall windows, the design is slim and super easy to use, it doesn't heat up and it's fast, I don't know I already said design and it's not letting me complete this check list for a review lol.. ah yes there it goes! Good reliable flash drive

I use USB flash drives to put movies i downloaded onto an then plug into TV to watch whenever I wish. Since buying this flash drive I haven't had any issues with it at all... & with the 256GB it allowed me to put alot of movies onto the drive. Very satisfied with this USB Flash drive!
