Super fast colonization
My jar is so og. No contamination. Only one is my fault so idk what people talking. Itโs definitely clean culture. Iโm a chemist student. And just need proper clean and bye I ainโt use anything but alcohol to cleanse everything.

Quick Colonization / Slow Growth
My first time trying to grow mushrooms, but these were highly recommended for TBI. The powder is very $$$$ so I thought I would give it a shot. I hear they are also tasty! The colonization was a bit concerning as it colonized within days and looked fuzzy, like a mold, instead of the white like I expected. Full mycelium propagation in a coco coir monotub took about 5 weeks. Be sure you watch actual lion's mane growing videos, as most I think are psilocybin mushroom grow guides on YouTube.

Multiple strains received with contam (Bacillus)
DO NOT BUY FROM ROOT MUSHROOM FARM. (UNLESS YOU WANT CONTAMINATED LIQUID CULTURE.) I am in the process of scaling my small hobby farm to prepare for the upcoming farmer's market. I had a lot of success with some strains I had sampled and isolated myself. I was so excited to begin growing some of my favorite strains to eat and share with my community. Root Mushroom Farm seemed to have everything I was looking for. Then the problems started. Golden Enoki wouldn't colonize fully. Chestnut mushrooms refusing to fruit. Maitake stalling in grain. So I started to do QC lab work to figure things out. I found rampant Bacillus contamination within my operation. No problem, I thought, it's probably because I started adding some of my substrate materials to my liquid culture... I just need to soak for 24 hours like I do everything else. Except, my blank liquid cultures were coming up clean. Other brands were doing just fine. So I tested all my masters and found a common thread. All but ONE of my master liquid cultures purchased from Root Mushroom Farm were contaminated with Bacillus. Badly. I want my money back and cannot discourage my fellow mushroom enthusiasts and cultivators against purchasing liquid culture from this vendor enough. Root Mushroom Farm cost me hundreds of dollars. Over 100lb of substrate blocks are now in the compost pile. Several liters of liquid culture down the drain. And that isn't even to mention the money I fronted for the initial purchase. Root Mushroom Farm. You need to test your products and perform better QC work. I hope that you will do the honorable thing and return the money I spent on your contaminated products. I hope you will do a full recall on those lots. I can accept one or two mistakes. But four different strains?? Unacceptable.

Had issues but it still came out a success
Edit: After messing up the whole thing, I finally got the spores injected into my grow bag and I have a successful culture growing. The spores came in the mail in my hot dry climate and they are doing fine. I will be buying more spores from this seller. My previous experience trying to grow lions mane on a mail log had been half successful it grew but still contaminated so this rye bag injection is the way to go I received the syringe, plunger, and alcohol wipe. There is no instruction in here so I pop the needle onto the plunger and the plunger won't budge. It still seems to be sealed inside. Frantically looking for instruction online everyone just twists the needle into place and it's good to go but mine stays inside the plunger. I feel that it must be contaminated at this point
