No the gun is way to big for that and not really hot enough.

How long can you use it on high heat before it overheats?

I have not had it overheat. The battery dies after about 20-25 min on high heat.

Great purchase of another quality product from dewalt

Another great quality product from Dewalt . This cordless heat gun is durable yet efficient and best of all it's 20 volt lithium ion battery is compatible with other Dewalt cordless products with the same voltage (cordless drill etc) . To sum it up another great Amazon purchase with their usual speedy delivery

I’m a Milwaukee guy, but when it came time to buy a cordless heat gun, this was the best deal money could buy. I use it for my vinyl removal and application business, and it works great. The battery really surprised me with how long it lasts and how well it holds up, even on the number two setting. For the money and the quality, you can’t beat it. I’m even thinking about buying a second one so I can have two crews running at the same time. It’s a five-star tool. It takes a little longer than a corded one to heat up, and the safety trigger is a bit annoying at first, but you get used to it. Overall, a great tool and definitely worth the money.

It gets hot enough to bend PVC conduit but doesn't burn it easy like a corded heat gun. Quick test shows about 340w on high. Not bad for a battery operated tool.
