Delicious creamy probiotic yoghurt, if you do it right
Superb "yoghurt" starter with beneficial bacteria. A few tips. Simmer yourilk or cream if you're using, for 30 minutes. Let it cool to at least 38 C. Add some of this cooled milk to 2 tablespoons of inulin powder. Add it slowly mixing steadily to stop it lumping together. Add in the starter. Pour this into your main milk and place in your yoghurt maker and set to no.more than 38 C for 36 hours. Result, delicious healthy yoghurt. Smooth.

This is great. No aftertaste. I am using it for Soy yogurt using pure soy and tapioca starch in an instant pot for 36 hours. Is as good as any of the best yogurt you can buy for abotu 40p per pot.

Ferments nicely
I won't know the gut health until I've taken for a few days. But it's a nice yoghurt, strains to a thick Greek style. I didn't boil the milk for as long as it said. I just let it ferment overnight for 12 hours

Misleading
I purchased this starter because it was advertised as L. reuteri yogurt culture, but after receiving it I became concerned that it may not actually function as a true Lactobacillus reuteri culture. First, the ingredient list on the back shows multiple bacterial strains, with others appearing to be dominant rather than L. reuteri. This is important because typical L. reuteri yogurt fermentation is slow and usually requires a long culture time (often around 24–36 hours) for the bacteria to establish and multiply. In my case, the yogurt thickened in about 8 hours, which strongly suggests that faster yogurt-forming bacteria (such as typical yogurt starter strains) are likely doing most of the fermentation. That rapid set time is not consistent with the slow-fermenting behaviour usually associated with L. reuteri cultures. Because of this, it’s difficult to know whether the product actually provides a meaningful amount of L. reuteri, or whether it is primarily a mixed yogurt culture being marketed under that name. If you’re specifically trying to culture L. reuteri yogurt, I would recommend carefully checking the strain information and culture composition before purchasing. Based on my experience, this product did not behave like a dedicated L. reuteri starter.

Difficult to separate
It came out lovely. However, the starters come in sashes for 2L milk, the milk cartons in 1L and the yogurt maker is for 750ml….. They are no scales that can weight such a small amount of the powder culture to be able to half it, so it’s an estimate job and then put the other half of the culture dust back in the package for the next round. It would be so much easier if the culture sashes came for a 1L milk.

Ottimo Starter molto veloce pratico , lo preferisco allo starter yogurt classico bianco da supermercato e molto piu veloce la cosa con starter il polvere una bustina per ogni litro di latte appena intiepidito da minimo da 40- 43 gradi giro per 1-2 minuti e perfetto io lo sciolgo direttamente nel recipiente di 1,4 lt in vetro della yogurtiera quello in dotazione , la vedo migliore come opzioni a differenza della tazzina piccola , li secondo me devi mischiarlo molto bene se no si formano grumi. (Che non fa nulla se vi capitasse) non mi ci trovo molto bene io parlo per me e non puoi girarlo scioglierlo bene essendo la tazzina troppo piccola .

Sehr gutes Produkt – klare Empfehlung!
Mir haben die Coolinario Joghurtkulturen L. Reuteri wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Bei der Verwendung von hochwertiger Milch erhalte ich aus einem einzigen Beutel etwa 2 Liter Joghurt. Der Joghurt hat eine angenehme Konsistenz und einen guten Geschmack, das Ergebnis ist zuverlässig und gleichbleibend. Die Qualität der Kulturen ist offensichtlich sehr hoch. Ich bin mit dem Produkt sehr zufrieden und werde es auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen.
