How do you use the adhesive? Do you have to drain some water? Can the adhesive be removed?** A: I'm pretty sure this unit is only for above ground pools. The disc's are for gluing onto the exterior of a plastic pool, that gives the light a backing to stick to thru the plastic. **Q: Mine came with no remote and it square not a teardrop has this happened to anyone else?** A: It doesn't come with a remote. You use the app to control it. And I believe the square is the new/updated version. **Q: Is the adhesive safer for a vinyl liner? I have a radiant pool so the walls are too thick for the magnet to work.** A: It works fine on my vinyl liner and I didn't even have to use the adhesive.
