meh
Retention is marginal but always present, clears easily. The FAILURE point is the power switch. I refuse to beg a grinder to power on or off.

Great grinder for everyday use
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this coffee grinder for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. It’s compact enough to sit on my kitchen counter without taking up too much space, yet it feels solid and well-built.One of my favorite things is how easy it is to switch between different grind settings, whether I’m making espresso, French press, or drip coffee, the adjustments are straightforward and consistent. The grind quality is surprisingly precise for a machine at this price point. The built-in timer is another great feature. I can customize how long it grinds, which makes my morning routine faster and more convenient. Once I’ve dialed in the timing for each brew method, it’s basically one-touch operation.I also have to say, it looks great! The design is sleek and modern, and it blends in nicely with the rest of my kitchen appliances.Overall, this grinder is a solid and affordable choice for anyone who brews coffee at home regularly. It gets the job done without fuss, and it does it well.

A great beginner's espresso grinder, but finicky buttons, lacks some extras
The media could not be loaded. Quick review:At the worst, I would rate this grinder 3 stars for "Its OK, I like it and don't regret picking it up, but it has too many drawbacks for the price". At it's best, and I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt, I'm rating it 4 stars because I'm having fun with it and it's doing a great job for my needs despite the issues. If you ignore everything else and just look at the end product, "ground coffee to make espresso with", then hands down this grinder beats out every other grinder I own. Some of them even have dedicated espresso burs I can swap out, or are marketed as being capable of espresso, and this still beats them. Given, those other grinders are a combination of electric and hand grinders valued between 40 and 100 USD each, so they are not technically even in the same weight class. The ground coffee from this $230.00 USD machine simply functions better in my various espresso machines, so I'd say in that regard the value is good, your paying a lot more but getter a much better end product for the cost. Somehow it just grinds the coffee in a way that is less prone to channeling/clogs, and makes the coffee flow from my bottomless portafilters closer to how it does in videos I see from coffee specialists. I do get some occasional grinds flying out from static if I don't use RDT, though it's very little.Grind sizes:This grinder was made with espresso in mind, so it's coarsest setting is not much bigger than what I'd use for a typical pourover. Closer to it's finest setting, I was able to get something comparable to Turkish around the 1-2 mark, and have made decent espresso between the 3-5 range. These ranges work for *ME*, though it's not an ace of all trades. If you prefer mostly drip, pour over and French press, check out the "Baratza" and "Fellow" offerings.Going into more detail on the problems:As far as problems go though, the controls can be infuriating. The touch screen often takes several presses to register anything. I have an MP3 player that only cost me 10 dollars, and the touch screen on that is FAR more responsive and reliable than the control panel on this coffee grinder 23 times it's price. To addressing complaints about having to hold down that button under the spout if your portafilter doesn't fit or when pouring into the included vessel, this is not simply not true: If you swap to manual mode then you can hit the Up arrow and it will run hands-free. You just don't get the timer to shut it off for you, you have to press the up arrow button again to stop it.Combined with the finicky start/stop button while weighing the grinds as they come out, or getting sidetracked prepping other things, I don't understand why they didn't add a third mode to go hands free WITH the timer. You can always keep the hopper empty and just weigh the beans for one serving into it every time, though I still would prefer to set the timer for just a little longer than needed to grind the beans so it shut it off without any more input from me.I wish this came with some adapters to fit 51mm and 54mm portafilters, they could have easily designed inserts to slip over the forks. I would also have liked a bellows to pop onto the hopper and help clear out leftover coffee. As for build quality and craftsmanship:This thing feels VERY premium, the body and even the adjustment dial are very sturdy feeling metal. The hopper and spout are thick, sturdy feeling plastic. I do wish they were made of metal or something, especially the spout, though the clear plastic is useful to see the flow easier.Turning the dial takes a bit more force than I'd like, though has a very satisfying feel and click to it. The clicks kinda float around the exact lines though, which is irritating.I don't like how the knob inside the hopper feels though it works well enough. It's there to help keep beans from flowing spilling out if you need to remove the hopper for cleaning. It also lets you dose beans by weight directly into the hopper, just don't forget to close the valve or the beans will spill out.The power cable is not especially thick, though feels well made. The detachable section of the bur with the thin pull-up looks flimsy in the video, though it feels solid when handling it. It's very easy to pop it out and get into the burs for a thorough cleaning, though the area around the burrs and under the adjustment dial look problematic for cleaning.Form factor:I love the spout design. It lets me grind directly into a number of pour over coffeemakers, even if I have to hold them up to the spout the whole time. It's perfect for refilling directly into my reusable nespresso and keurig pods too (even if those pod machines are inferior I still have fun using them on occasion), though I do have to manually stop it and tamp it down very few seconds. It's so much easier than trying to spoon the grinds into a funnel to fit the tiny pods.I can still fill my 51mm portafilter directly with this, I just have to hold the portafilter in place amd use a dosing ring, maybe pause the grinder partway through to tap it down. Alternatively if I use the included dosing cup, it's too large to fit my portafilter directly, but is a perfect match for the dosing ring I have on my 51mm.It's surprisingly compact and not especially tall, making it easy to fit in next to my other appliances. The only issue is having enough space next to it to reach the buttons on the right side.

Perfect grinds but not without drawbacks
This grinder does make excellent and consistent grounds, whatever size you choose, and it works very fast. It's amazingly quiet, and I really like that it gets every last bean, including the last one that usually just bounces around. Additionally, it is tall, but it has a small footprint, and it's super easy to take apart and clean. The touch screen took a little getting used to for the right touch at first; however, it does remember your settings. The two drawbacks I found are that it is pretty messy no matter how close or far you put your container to the dispenser spout. A lot of grounds end up on the plate and all around the spout. The worst part for me is that it has a button that has to be triggered to start grinding. It's made for a specific portafilter that connects and pushes the button automatically, but if you don't have that portafilter, you are stuck holding the button that's in an awkward place under the dispenser spout, and you have to keep holding it until it's done. It does work quickly, but I could be making other preparations instead of holding the button.Additionally, I don't understand why it comes with a cheap plastic cup for dispensing the grounds. It seems to me that for the expensive price, it could have come with a stainless steel cup that could be made to trigger the grind button if you don't have the specific portafilter. The plastic cup seems like it was just a last-minute idea without any thought about it. Not everyone has a portafilter and drinks espresso.Overall, the grinds are excellent, but I feel there are other issues that need attention.

☕ Brewed to Perfection — This Grinder is a Morning Game-Changer!
This grinder seriously elevated my coffee game! The conical burr design gives such a consistent, even grind that’s miles better than my old blade grinder—no more uneven bits or weak brews. Whether I’m making pour-over, French press, or espresso, the results are smooth and flavorful every time. 🫘💫The 60-second smart timer is a genius feature—I just set it, hit start, and it grinds exactly the amount I need. Super convenient and mess-free. It also runs surprisingly quiet for a grinder, which is great when I’m trying not to wake the whole house. 🔇☕I also love the sleek white design—it looks so good on my countertop and doesn’t take up much space at all. Cleanup is easy, the controls are intuitive, and the grind size adjustment dial is smooth and precise. If you're serious about coffee and want a grinder that looks great and performs like a pro, this is it. Total must-have for anyone who loves their brew just right! ☕✨
