For me, the stability (no-wobble) on a ceramic flat cooktop was important. This kettle has a nice weight to it with a polished finish. If you review the instructions, they recommend using a smaller burner, so I heated mine up in the inner coil of a dual burner and it heated up plenty fast. I went with the 2.6 liter choice, which seemed the perfect size. Personally, I feel the weight and construction and finish of the stainless is better than expected - a good buy. Whistles like a champ.

Very nice teakettle. Beautiful. Very sturdy.Extra wide bottom really lessens heating time.Pours great from spout.Handle never gets hot, a big plus for me.Whistles up a storm.Only two small negatives, and they’re not deal breakers for me:1. It’s a bit heavy when pouring, because I’m no longer very strong.2. The flip-up whistling spout cover has no stationary “up” position. It lifts easily when using your finger on the lift lever, but it does not stay up.If they’d fix nbr 2, it would be perfect for me.But all in all, I really am satisfied.

As said in the title. Good price (competitive), good quality (better than most), good design (simple, well placed components that function as expected).

Great tea kettle for the price but made in China is not a plus but otherwise, good value for the money.

I'm not having a problem with the Kettle itself. I have shoulder issues and i can't pick it up when there is water in it. When i took it out of the box, I loved it so I the trashed the boxes or I would have returned it. Maybe i can use it for a planter
