So far, they are completely waterproof. The size is correct. They were a bit tight at first but as the elastic has stretched a bit with wear. They are easy on and off. They offer no insulation. I'm OK for 20 minutes or so in the cold with a pr. of medium-thick socks I use them for walking my dogs and simple tasks in the yard. For my use they are fine. The removable insole is thin and offer no arch support, so they might be painful during long use for some (?) They have a "Vibram-type" lugged sole. It is very hard, but not slippery and provide good traction. They don't appear to mark floors like some boots do. They provide no lateral support and are not a "hiking boot". Especially if you're prone to twisting your ankle. The camo color is OK, but not a great fashion statement so, IMHO, best used at home! I wish they were a bit taller especially since we have had 7-1/2' of snow so far this winter. These are a really good value compared to the name brand alternatives.
