Works ok.
Didn't trust spring fasteners. Used wire that's provided along with pliers and wire cutters. Works and stainless screens should last.

Excellent quality - perfect fit, will keep the wasps out!
We got these bug screens for our Airstream trailer after noticing a couple of wasp nests in the furnace compartment. The bug screens are made from heavy stainless steel mesh and are a perfect fit. We have an Atwood water heater.Easy to install with the provided tool.Great value for the money - highly recommended.

BEWARE: Dometic voids warranty if installed!
These grills are very easy to install and are very secure, plus they work great. However, I just read that new RVs that come with Dometic hot water heaters specifically state that the warranty is voided if these are installed. What a crock and cop-out... I have an Atwood.

Easy install is a bit of a stretch but I did it
The furnace vent cover wasn't quite the size of our vent but I made it work using two springs. The water heater vent covers went on like a breeze. They look nice and have survived travel days so far. Having dealt with spiders and wasps setting up housekeeping in those areas before, I wish I purchased this earlier. I'd rather wrestle with that installation tool than either spiders in a venturi or a wasp nest!

RV Screen
Serves its purpose once my husband got them installed. Directions are never simple on this stuff. A dummy could do it.

Easier to Install than I imagined
We just bought a "new to us" small travel trailer. After reading about how insect nests can invade and destroy the inner workings of your furnace and hot water tank, we decided to go for these bug screens. They were relatively easy to install using the tool that was supplied. Smaller hands will find the task easier - but even our arthritic hands were able to secure the screens. Get them.
