Unfortunately, the inner pillow is not feather proof and before long the feathers started poking us in the back and making a mess. We gave these a try and they are great! No more feathers poking through. We recovered the inner pillow with these and then put the outer velvet cover back on. We were thrilled with the price and ordered a second set. Based on comments, I believe some people are reading the symbol on the package incorrectly.
