Aluminium Floor Trim - Gold - 38mm – Grooved Door Threshold – Screw-Fix, 1m Long LPOR (Gold)

I got this threshold strip to bridge the gap beneath an archway at home. The arch is about one metre wide, so a “normal” strip wouldn’t fit, and I just had to chop 5mm off the end of the strip. The fit was then perfect, and the supplied screws worked perfectly to secure the strip in place - no hint of the heads on the screws burring or losing theirgrip (which is really unusual). Very good strip and I’ll definitely look out for this make next time I need a threshold strip

This sliver of metal is rjust the ticket.,although you will need a hacksaw to cut the metal to fit .

The strips are wide enough and certainly long enough for any house door. They look good in gold and come with brass screws that match the colour. They were delivered in a solid card tube for protection. Excellent product and good service. I have ordered more.

The product is fine, generally anyway. Took a few days to arrive and installed it without issue, but checked my local B&M and found the exact same size and quality for £2.50 with screws too... Really no excuse for it being this expensive, regret buying it now! Oh well, you live and you learn.

This item was used to cover a ragged carpet edge, after I had some damp work done to a plaster wall. I paid £90 to contractors to protect the carpet while the damp work was being dene - which involved ripping it out of the spiked, direct single edge(!) £90 well spent. The item matches the color of the underlying direct single edge nicely. The product came with screws with plugs. Good quality. Sinking the screws into flooring hardwood was the only issue. I had to be careful not the burr the head of the screw. For the price, appearance and easy of use, I should have given it a 5
