Clairol Natural Instincts Semi-Permanent Hair Color, Chestnut Black, 1 Count

Tried this Clairol Natural Instincts hair color and was pleasantly surprised. The formula didn’t irritate my scalp at all, which is a big deal for me since I’ve had reactions with other brands. There’s no strong or weird smell during application and it’s comforting to know there are no harsh chemicals. The color itself is rich and lasted way longer than I expected for a demi-permanent dye.

A pleasant surprise. There was zero irritation to my scalp. I love the results. I am ordering again . I would recommend this product.

I subscribe to this product and am happy with it. However, this is the second time that it was delivered in a huge oversized box! Such a waste an not environmentally friendly. If this happens again, will cancel subscription!

My mom introduced me to this and I'm so glad she did. I've been using just whatever is on sale at the market. Since I mainly need to touch up some gray roots, these products are always close to my scalp. Some of those previous dyes dried out my hair or burned my scalp and I just accepted it as 'that's what dyes do'. Umm wrong... Since using this, my hair is healthy and no longer breaks easily AND I have not at all had to suffer burning scalp syndrome! I love that the cooking time is only like 10-15 minutes and the gray is covered. I use this about once a month but I don't use much, I measure small equal amounts of each into a small mixing bowl, then mix brush only on the roots showing grey. So one box lasts me a long time. I do like to stock up on 2 or 3 boxes at a time though because once in awhile it does run out of stock here on Amazon, and I always want to be prepared.
