Decided to jump into painting this year and was really overwhelmed with the color choices and types of paint. Saw a YouTube video that recommended the GOLDEN open acrylics since they have a slower dry time when i came across this kit. The tubes were smaller than I anticipated but a little goes a long way and I was able to get eight 9 x 12 paintings completed before I ran out of white and had to buy some more. The thinner that it comes with is imo the key to making them last and really helps with blending. The paint quality is really good and I was really impressed with the outcome of my art work. Overall I'm extremely satisfied and have already started expanding my palette with other GOLDEN Open colors.

Die Qualität der Farben ist hervorragend. Wie alle "Golden" Farben sind auch die "Open" extrem teuer, aber da man für die Ausarbeitung kleiner Details nur wenig Farbe braucht, läßt sich das verschmerzen. Für große Farbflächen nehme ich günstigere Farben mit Verdünner. Sept. 2025

Blends better than most acrylic's I have used.

It is a slow drying paint that makes blending so much easier. I wish it was less expensive so I could buy it exclusively. It does seem like I use less paint when using this product. The small tubes have lasted quite awhile and I paint a lot.
