Yes, just 5 memory presets. We agree with you and we will eventually come out with a similar radio with more presets. We understand the radio market has been jumbled in recent years which makes more presets a requirement. Most people purchase it for the reception, audio and other features.

any suggestion for added antenna for AM stations?

Get the C. Crane EP Pro with old school slide rule tuner. I have it, tunes great. But any of C. Crane’s with twin coil ferrite antenna should work great, best in the world for AM. Tecsun’s best wouldn’t pull in AM distant stations. Sent it back. See Tolberts YouTube radio reviews will back me up.

You have the radio lock on. It is the small tab inside a 3/8 inch indentation above the volume control. It says lock and should be in the off position to power up the radio.
