Awesome Tent!
I'm pretty blown away by the quality of this tent, especially considering how much less expensive it is than most other rooftop tents. I paid $809 during a sale. The price seems to fluctuate a lot, so wait for a sale. There are multiple sellers on Amazon selling the same tent. First off, this fits perfectly on my small Ford Maverick, but it does stick up above the roofline when folded down, so expect to lose a couple MPG with this installed unless you are using a low-profile rack. Setup and installation wasn't bad. The tent was packaged well, but did not include any instructions, so I had to figure it out myself. It's pretty simple - just attach the cross bars to the bottom of the tent using the included hardware (you will need to get one hand inside of the tent and under the sleeping pad/mattress to secure the bolt). Then, attach the cross bars to your rack system using the included brackets. Finally, attach the ladder brackets to the side, and attach the ladder. The tent is super spacious. My fiance and I can comfortably fit inside with our two small dogs and some essential items. The included sleeping pad/mattress is surprisingly comfortable, but you can add a thin foam mattress topper for some extra cushion if you want to. We chose not to and it was perfectly fine. The tent has window openings on all 4 sides as well as an opening on top. Ventilation is great. The material feels very durable and high-quality. On our first night camping in this tent, it absolutely poured all night long, and everything was still perfectly dry, so it's certainly waterproof, and I wouldn't hesitate to use it in a wet environment. It takes about 5 minutes to pack and unpack the tent. The included cover is very thick and durable, and has velcro that attaches to the tent itself to keep it from flying off at highway speeds. There are also straps to hold the tent closed and secure the cover to the tent. I have had no issues with the cover trying to come off at upwards of 90mph. All-in-all, if you're looking for a rooftop tent, this is well worth the money. I'd definitely recommend it.

Great RTT
’ve owned this RTT (rooftop tent) for a year now. Just finished a 2 month road trip from New York to Florida and back and slept in the tent the majority of the time There are a lot of options in RTTs. I picked this one for several reasons. - The price was great in comparison to other RTTs. - Perfect size for my Ford Maverick. It fits on a low profile bed rack on the back of my Maverick perfectly. It sits below the roof line so there is no additional drag on long rides on the highway. - It only weighs about 100lbs which is lighter than any other RTT I’ve seen. Pros - It’s well made. Tent material is very good. The poles are strong and durable. The zippers are good quality and steady - Size. Perfect fit on the back of my ford Maverick. Very spacious when open. Could easily for 2 maybe 3 people. I’m 6ft 4in and I fit inside comfortably - Easy set up and breakdown Cons - The mattress is initially comfortable and is fine for a night or so but if you’re going to use it for an extended period like I do, you’ll want a topper. I use an additional 1.5in topper and it’s makes it just as comfortable as my bed at home. - Because of how low I set it up I had to drill additional holes in the ladder so it would lock at an appropriate angle when open - It’s great for spring, summer and fall camping but as is I would not recommend using it in the winter or if it’s cold out because it has no insulation. I purchased a tent liner for this RTT and it’s made camping in the cold a lot better. Even when it’s nice out it reduces, noise and light. Wish it came included because they are really hard to find. Overall very happy with it and would purchase it again

Great tent
The tent is awesome. Two adults can lay in it and still have room. The mattress feels comfy but laying on it for a few hours gets uncomfortable so I would recommend getting a mattress topper. I had to email the company to get instructions for the tent and they weren't that great of instructions.

Appears to be well made...
The company was great to work with on delivery and freight arrangements, have not had a chance to use it other than an initial setup. the fabric is a decent quality, and ripstop. stitching looks even and and very few loose threads I did find some in a trim piece where it was fraying a bit, and a spot in the skirt where there was a small hole worn in the fabric, that is a not critical location. inside has the infamous aluminum shavings that will need to be cleaned out. I was pleased to see seam tape on a budget tent like this. instructions are worthless, go read instructions from similar items, and compare notes and translations. the instructions NEED to be rewritten for this product. I have mine mounted to a bed rack made from 1 3/4" round tube, and the provide bolts are to short, but easy fix was to replace with 5/16 x 3" bolts and hardware. all windows and screens unzip, to give an unobstructed view, there is two vents inside at the top. mattress is soft(ish) but comfortable. 2 adults are going to find this model cozy, but it is perfect size for solo travel setup was easy, packing was a bit more troublesome with everything being new, and a first timer. once the cover stretches a bit it should be come easier to pack. so far it gets 4 stars until I can further use and test the tent. Update 10/2024 Adding a star for awesome factory support The tent itself was amazing, however i had an issue with the.floor being to lightweight an or would oilcan an pop an creak really bad. OVS stood behind there product 100% an work with me to resolve the issue years after buying the tent. I seen other more recent versions of this tent an it appears they changed the floor panel an everyone.said they never had issues.. Rest assured OVS stands by there product!

Awesome Tent
Honestly, for the price it's an awesome roof top tent. Pros: * Sturdy, well engineered. Quality zippers and attachments * Comfortable mattress * Nice features inside * Lightweight Cons: * Instructions / documentation extremely light, with spelling errors and mistakes * Ladder feels a bit flimsy, you'll probably need to drill a few extra pin holes in it if you are bed-mounting the tent to keep the angle upright and not a "ramp" * Haven't figured out how to open the rainfly yet... it seems complex. Red straps are handles to get into the tent. They're always in the way and get pinched in the floor. Just remove them (making sure to replace the screw. One final note. If you're reading this wondering if you can install this on the vehicle yourself, the answer is yes. It's pretty easy to install over a truck bed. (just lift up, put on truck tailgate, then climb in bed and lift up onto rails / rack... easy for any healthy adult). If you're mounting by yourself on top of a van or suv... you'll probably need to build some ramp to control the tent's accent and descent.
