You can adjust the duration down to only 10 seconds. This is a brand new product that will get some enhancements by way of firmware updates. I have to freezers in the same area** A: I don't know what the limit is, but I have two motion detectors and one power monitor on the same hub. **Q: If wifi is alive and only power of hub is out, can trigger this alarm? If power of hub is on and only wifi is dead, can trigger this alarm?** A: The audible alarm will activate if power to it is interrupted. If the hub is out/offline, you'll receive an email or text notification (per your settings) in half an hour. If WiFi is down, you will not get an immediate notification on the app, since the app requires an internet connection to the device via the hub. But you will get an indication in the app that your device is offline. And if both WiFi and power is out, you'll get that notification in half an hour. It is worth pointing out the PFA can be paired to other alarms or relays, plugs, etcetera, to cause a remote alarm or device action, if you need that. Enjoy! I believe when it’s blinking it’s telling you it’s not connected. I got this for an Anker LiFePO4 power bank backup to my security cameras and alarms, which like all such systems, is unreliable in sending notifications on grid failure and restoration. By simply plugging this into any outlet in the house, that gap in the powerbank capabilities is solved. It works well with the Yolonk system and app that I use for about 8 leak detectors throughout the house which I am also very happy with after several months. This item notified me at 3am about loss of power and sent notifications during the day without a hitch when it happened again. The Anker told me nothing but did provide power.
