Accurate, Comfortable, and Packed with Data – Worth It
I’ve used chest straps from Polar and Wahoo before, but the Garmin HRM-Pro Plus stands out. It locks onto heart rate fast and stays locked — no dropouts, no drifting, even during interval runs or circuit training. What really makes this strap worth it is the extra data: running dynamics, cadence, vertical oscillation, ground contact time — all syncs straight to Garmin Connect and gives way more insight than a wrist-based monitor ever could. Battery life’s great (over a year easy), and swapping it out is way simpler now with the no-tools battery cover. Strap’s comfortable too — snug but not irritating, even on long workouts. Whether you’re training for performance or just want reliable tracking, this strap delivers. No gimmicks — just solid, accurate data every time.
