A must have for any type of joint compound you are using with a bucket.
This was a lifesaver for the finishing job I just did because I had just enough bucket mud to finish. Fortunately I got this before that job because I usually just use my knife to scoop the mud. Maybe it’s just me but it took me a second to realize you have to hold it upright and go down from the top of the bucket to scoop the sides and get all the mud possible to the bottom. Durable tool and easy to clean of course before the mud dries. It hasn’t rusted on me yet so I take it that the stainless steel is of decent quality. Definitely a must have if you are using a bucket to finish drywall, even if you are simply mixing hot mud in a bucket.

Efficient tool for scooping mud
Looks like a pretty high quality tool. I bought a set of drywall knives that are the same brand and they are great so I expect this will last a long time and work as well as they do. It is a pretty novel idea to get a rounded bucket scoop but it is really handy when you use it. It also helps keep the bucket clean above the level of the mud after you scoop it out. To be honest, I so most of my own home remodels and repairs and just don’t use mud as fast as it goes bad. For cleaning out a bad batch of mud from a bucket, this thing can’t be beat. I am not a drywall professional and don’t do a ton of muddying and taping. Take this into consideration if you are reading this review. For the homeowner, this seems pretty handy to me.

Made out of stainless steel.
Trying to get drywall mud out of the bottom of a bucket with a square trowel is less than fun. Having something that contours to the bucket is a dream come true. This is made of stainless steel so it won't rust if it's not dried immediately. The handle is made of a firm plastic so you can scrub it without having to worry about ruening it. It comes with a life time warranty through the manufacturer. Grip feels firm and build quality is on point. This is a good addition to any contractors tool box.

Good tool
It's good. Does what I need it to do. Need to use at the right vertical angle to scrape along the sides. Not my favorite tool for scooping mud though.

Great bucket scoop for re-use
Hey it had a small flaw in the blade, a kind of punch error, did not think much of it ...........then i start seeing plastic on the walls. it was just enough of a flaw to scrape thin plastic worms into the mud. After filing and sanding the blade it was much better. SO savings was NILL. I wonder if the cheaper knockoff has the flaw. If you are just cleaning buckets for re use it is great.

Nicely made scoop
High quality and the sticker came off very easily. This probably isn't a big deal to some, but it drives me crazy when manufacturers put stickers on tools that leave thick residue. Especially drywall tools, since you want your tools to be clean and don't want to transfer gunk into your compound. Comfortable handle and good quality stainless steel.

Me gustó
Resistente, óptima, durable. Se adapta muy bien a las curvas de la cubeta. Acá empacamos miel, es dura y pesada y líquida y en ambas formas me funcionó. Obvio que durará más con la líquida.
