Cateye TL-LD270 LED Bicycle Tail and Safety Light (Red)

Have tried many lights, in all price ranges and this is by far the best, for any money. A little tight, and it sits sideways on the seat post, but functions well. Make sure that the battery cover is snugly on. Wish that it used more common AAA batteries, that's the only real drawback, the batteries don't really come in handy for anything else.

The light is compact and lightweight. It hasn't broken after a fair amount of heavy shock and vibration from aggressive city/downhill riding. Puts out enough light, but isn't extremely bright. I would recommend it to someone looking for a light that is small, durable and unobtrusive. I'm using it on a soft tail XC mountain bike.

Nice and Bright, RAAM inspection approved, cars always see me at dawn,dusk, and night. -1 star for the N battery type, and next time I will prolly get something with a bigger lens.But I am perfectly happy with this

The attachmen is not very good, can be attached only in certain position. no water proof gasket. Otherwise works well.

Excellent light, can be seen in day or at night, battery lasts forever, small and easy to mount. Would buy again.****Update as of 8-3-2015It died already. Silly little light is not water resistant! No gasket and exposed circuitry mean moisture gets in, and it fried already. See attached pic. Don't buy this thing. I mean seriously, wtf? A non-water resistant light for a bike? Jeeze. I had an old Cateye that died and it was held together with tape it took such a beating--and lasted like 5 years! I figured this one would be even better...but nooooo.....some idiot design engineer said wow looks great on the computer screen!

This is fine but did not like the size of battery and the awkward position it will hold under the saddle. due to the strap it will be vertical istead of perpendicular. Rest are good and effective.

Cateye builds high quality products and this light is such. It is compact light, bright and easy to install. The only drawback is that is does not use a regular AAA battery.

excellent product. Although Small, does the job it should. Easy to fit and remains secure on the seat post. Cost was well within budget and I expect to be using it well past my own sell by date!
