First, flax/linen is an amazing natural material that just gets better and better the longer you own it. If appropriately cared for and maintained, I would expect this product to last the better part of a lifetime. The first thing you should do after inspecting it upon receipt is to wash it, maybe even twice. Second, don't be alarmed by all of the lint you will see the first few times you wash / dry this product. All linen products will produce some lint, but the amount will decrease significantly after the first half dozen washes or so. If you must use a tumble dryer and cannot line dry, invest in some wool dryer balls and don't over dry this duvet cover. Finally, craftsmanship is decent. These aren't parachute or brooklinen quality, but they also cost half as much and are probably 90% of the quality. My primary concern was stitching on the buttons for the duvet cover closure, but that can be easily remediated should a button come off. And extra buttons were included, so they've covered pretty much all of the necessary bases there. If you've got a nice mattress, nice pillow(s), and nice sheets...this should be next on your list of bedding. I'd suggest pairing this with a nice down or silk duvet...particularly silk...as a Silk Duvet + Linen Duvet Cover will keep you warm at night but also wick / breathe well so you don't wake up covered in sweat.

I looked at linen sheets FOREVER online and finally decided on these. The price is more than fair and the quality is really great. The elastic on the fitted sheet is especially good and stretchy, and makes it easy to get onto the mattress. (I bought the duvet cover and the sheets both.) I've never had linen sheets before, and the first time I hopped into them, I was surprised at how rough they felt. But they are really breathable and now that they've had a few washes, I can feel them softening right up. I know they're going to be a purchase I'm happy with for a really long time. The duvet cover has ties in it, by the way. I see a lot of people ask about that. So if your quilt has loops, you'll be able to secure them together.

I washed it as soon as it arrived and it was super soft. Very lightweight and breathable. Ties on the corners and concealed buttons to close. Light grey is very light - I love it and it feels alot more expensive than it was!
