Everytime I step outside I get eaten alive by these nasty pests! It's gotten so bad in parts of L.A. County that I don't go outside much. I get bitten anytime, morning, noon and evening. So I came across this product. Used it once, put on both wrists and neck, went outside to water some plants, and got 2 nasty bites. My kid got bitten too. They don't work at all against Asian Tiger mosquitoes. You can't see 'em, you can't hear 'em, they come by like the wind and flee. I can't return it because I've opened many packs. Oh well

Took this to Mexico didn’t get any bites so I guess it works I read all the reviews and chose this one and I’m glad I did it’s a plus that it comes individually packaged because these things have a shelflife once they’re open. I wish they sold it in a smaller package I didn’t really need dozens. I had one around my ankle one around my wrist and tied one to my hair I also like the fact that they are water resistant proof simple and practical

Holy cow! I've read on here some folks 're-use' this. Maybe you can order more powder and add water or scoop out a bunch of flies. NO WAY for me! I put mine out 4 days ago off my veranda about 7 feet away and catch a whiff now and then and am so glad it's a passing whiff. THIS THING WORKS AND WORKS AMAZINGLY WELL. I found out flies can smell stuff, at least, 700 yards away. There are so many less flies approaching the veranda. I'm ordering a disposable one by Victor and a 4 pack of these. It's screwy how Victor has the pricing. You pay tons more if you don't pick the proper combination. I don't like the way the prices are presented. Right now, the 4 pack is the 'cheapest' way to purchase and NO WAY AM I RE USING THIS. 1 week would be the limit to keep it out and it's so yukky i'll drop it in a couple plastic grocery bags and pitch it. It ought to be about a $30 investment for a couple months and i'd rather do that than work on dumping. THIS THING IS PHENOMENAL. Thousands of them critters in a few days.

These Victor Fly Magnet traps are great. They attract and trap flies at an incredible rate, what seems to be thousands every week. It took a few weeks, but a single trap has reduced an overwhelming outdoor fly population (that always found their way into the house) to almost nothing. They are made to be emptied and filled with fresh bait when full (every week to two weeks for us), but at the price, we avoid the mess and just toss the whole trap and put a fresh one its place. There is a strong smell within a few feet of the trap, so choose a good location.

Boy this thing can sure collect flies! It started within hours of me putting them out. Easy to set up. Just empty the contents in the jar and pour warm water from your tap to the fill line, then screw on the cover, snap on the white umbrella top and thats it. Others said it takes them a day maybe to start working, mine worked within the hour. The only thing is they carry a very nasty smell like dead fish, but I guess that is what attracts the flies.

Wow this worked beyond any imagination. It's as if all the fly within 10 mile radius came to die in this trap. First day was slow but it still caught some as soon as I hung it up. But by the end of the week I had to throw it away because it was packed solid with flys from top to bottom. If you aren't squeamish you can empty out the solid cake of dead flys on the top, add some more water and it will continue to kill. For the price I decided it's easier to just put up a new one once it's full.

Follow the directions on these fly traps and watch them fill up with the nasty little pests in no time. Place them far away from inhabited and cookout areas because they reek once the flies die and rotting carcasses begin piling up. When the jar becomes full, empty the contents add more water and bait to repeat the process. Highly recommended..
