The cameras work very well but the battery life is just so so. Also, the software isn't terribly accurate, frequently announcing "person seen" when our neighbors' 🐎 comes up to the fence or some 🦌 passes by...

A bit frustrating to get these cameras hooked up to the Wi-Fi and added to the Google home app, but once all that is accomplished, they work great. I have only noticed a few recordings triggered in error in my living room, which appears to be triggered by shadows on a wall rather than movement. I have half of these cameras hooked up outside, and I do not appear to be affected by the weather at all. I would just recommend you brush spiders off them frequently, as bugs resting on the camera lens can be a nuisance. I highly recommend this purchase!

I have to agree with those negative reviews regarding warranty and life of the cameras. Out of 6 purchased a little over a year ago, 2 have stopped working entirely. And while they worked wonderfully, for the price, I would expect a few more years of life. For such a immense company you would think that they would at least give a 2 year warranty on a product of this price.

We have the google nest based products in our home. The google home app is simple to use. It was easy to add these devices! We got the indoor / outdoor battery cams and I also purchased the weatherproof cables. Its really nice with the cables as the video feed remains constant and the camera doesn't try to same battery. The cameras are easy to position, the magnetic base works great and is strong. The cameras are not too large and have good picture. I'm really happy with this purchase and it gives us a peace mind we have 360 degree view around or house. We have six cameras.

I bought this kit after getting a single camera. They are all battery powered and it's shipped as a set of two 3 packs. Each 3 pack only comes with a single charger. So you get two chargers for six cameras that are supposed to take five hours a piece to charge to 100%. The discount for buying in bulk is completely lost when you have to buy individual chargers. I recommend you buy everything one camera at a time unless you are already planning to buy some extended cables. That's the other thing, they give you a ridiculously short cable and it's proprietary. So if you want 24/7 video (only supported on power [not solar]), you have to use these short cables or buy extended length chargers. Love the cameras, hate the rest. This is not a full solution in a box, it's upsell centric.
