I had been looking to replace our old electric blanket which had become lumpy and looking jaded. One of the first things I noticed with new ones is that the wattage is lower than the existing blanket, Actually half the amount so this would take twice as long to heat up. Anyhow after great deliberation, I decided to go for this one.It is nicely packaged with a zip bag which is useful for storing other stuff. The blanket is a stretch fit on to the mattress with no awkward ties to bother with and it does stay in place as you would like it to. the cables come out at the pillow area so the controls are easily at the bedside with no lumps to cause you discomfort. Being dual control it is easy to have " his and her" settings to suit. Now as I already suspected it does take longer to warm up for a given time, but we have altered our habits so as this is not too much of a problem now, just remembering to put it on half an hour before bedtime instead of the usual fifteen minutes. However, because the blanket is so soft, fluffy and warming without being turned on, getting the bed hot is not so much of a problem because it feels cosy even when off.The controls are quite easy to operate. If you require different heat levels for your feet or body, If like me you like to have warmer feet in comparison to the body temperature it is easy to alter to your liking and then it turns off after an hour (or up to 9 hours).The actual blanket is so comfortable to lie on as there is no element ridges or cable connectors to stick in you. Also, we have found, that although you can be hot in bed (NO, not like that!), it is a nice sort of heat, not sweaty or clammy as often happens with modern foam mattresses. So, all in all, we would recommend this type of blanket as it is extremely comfortable and not badly priced. The only downside for me is that I am more reluctant to get out of bed in the morning.

This electric blanket does exactly what it says on the box. First of all, it's a great fit over the mattress with a really deep skirt to stop it moving. The controls are very clear and easy to use with the ability to select a heat rating for your body and feet. This is very useful if you plan to leave it on during the night.The finish is soft and plush which in itself gives a warm feeling plus the gentle heat makes it very soothing.Unlike my previous electric blanket this doesn't have a fast heat warm-up function to you need to put it on maximum for around 30 minutes to properly warm the bed up before you get in. Once you've mastered that it's very impressive.

This blanket is amazing, dual controls, nine different heat levels, heat different areas separately, off timer..........couldn't wish for more !!It takes about an hour to heat up fully, longer than I expected, but it is not a problem. It is very comfortable to lay on, the quilt really makes it very soft to sleep on. My husband and I both get into bed and say Ahhh as we lay down, it is such a nice feeling !!!!!I had a problem with one of the controllers which was working intermittently, and was ready to return the item. I contacted the seller and after confirming the problem, sent out a new controller on a next day delivery, all works fine now. Fantastic service and wouldn't think twice about buying from this seller again.All in all a Great purchase.

Great product. Fits well over a king size mattress and the blanket itself is soft and thick and you do not feel the heating elements. The great thing with this product is that you have so much control over the heat - there are separate controls over each side of the bed, so that one of you can have heat and the other none (but you will need two plug sockets or an extension cable because each controller plugs in separately). In addition you have separate controls for the feet and the body zones and a full range of warmths separately set for each zone. The controller also has separate timers for each side - it's not that you can set the blanket to heat at a particular time, but when you switch it on you can set the heat to be on for 1 hour, or increments to 9 hours and then 'always on'. Having the blanket as an under blanket (with a mattress protector and base-sheet on top) does mean that the heat is perhaps less hot than you might expect, but I have always found it perfectly toasty for me - the trick is to put it on a half hour or so before you get into bed. Great product!

Fits well, controls are easy and intuitive to use and blanket (under 3 layers of mattress ‘protectors’ ) is very comfortable and heats OK. My only CAVEAT is how long it lasts…?NB. We were happy enough with our previous EB, (different brand, but still Chinese-made) UNTIL IT JUST STOPPED WORKING after approx 2 years. Out of warranty, no one to fix it, so it went to landfill…I’m hoping this lasts longer and if I remember, I’ll post a PS in 24 months and let you all know.

I have been using this blanket (king size ) for two months now the performance of the heat has been very good in that after 45mins to 1hour on the high setting the bed is very warm. The dual control is essential as we both have differing requirements for sleep and we are able to get the optimum heat for our individual needs. Quality is very good with a padded soft top that helps to make the element wires less noticeable, I have a very deep mattress and the skirt on the blanket fits and holds the blanket in position well. The controls have a blue back light which makes the black numerals easy to read and the diagram of the body shows you if you are heating torso or feet areas when selecting the heat. The product arrived well packed and promptly. Would recommend

Good quality. Bed nice and warm but you need to put it on for at least 30mins before bedtime. It does move around a little but not sure if it's the mattress material.
