What is the difference between the cuticle scissors curved and the cuticle tower point scissors?

Cuticle scissors are narrower and can reach in tighter spaces. A tower point scissor for not have as much flexibility for use.

Can you (3 swords) elaborate on why you advise against using this one on nails? ... thx

The blades may roll the nail and possibly tear it. I use them on mine, if needed, after my nails have been wet down and softened, like after a shower, or used for hangnails.

Are these scissors for people that are left and right handed when doing nails and should curved or straight?

The blades are not set up for left handed people, I'm left handed and I don't have too much trouble using them. They do cut finger nails pretty well. The blades are curved, it helps with some applications.

Stay sharp for years.

German quality cant be beat. I have never purchased another brand so cant honestly compare. All i can share is that they remain sharp for years and make wonderful gifts

Sharp, good quality, and apparently damaging when not used properly

These scissors replaced a beloved pair I had been using for 25 years to trim my nails. When it was time for a replacement I was sceptical about sharpness, size and shape. These scissors are sharp for trimming nails and cuticles. The shape is perfect for my hand and the curvature of the blade is perfect. One note however, my husband decided to "borrow" them to trim his nose hairs and I was told they didn't cut any hair at all, and the point at the end was very sharp as they caused a nose bleed. A lesson learned to use a product for what is was made for!
