Tackles Hard Water Stains and Leaves Dishes Sparkling
The Lemi Shine Natural Dish Detergent Booster is amazing for hard water stains and cloudy glasses. Just a small amount added to my dishwasher makes a noticeable difference โ everything comes out sparkling clean. I love that itโs made with natural citric acid and is safe for multi-use cleaning around the kitchen. Itโs effective, eco-friendly, and the 2-pack is a great value. Overall, a must-have for anyone dealing with hard water or wanting extra shine from their dishwasher.

Great product, sparking glassware even in hardest water
Lemishine greatly improved my Bosch dishwasherโs performance. My dishes werenโt getting clean, glasses were cloudy or spotted, and plates felt like they had soap residue. With Lemishine, now everything is sparking clean! Easy to use, just pour a small amount into the bottom of your dishwasher, load your favorite dishwasher tab and run your cycle. Glasses will be spotless! And we have VERY hard well water! No odor, no sticky film, just clean dishes. Might add a bit to the cost of each cycle, but everything including the stainless steel pans comes out sparkling and I donโt have to wipe the glasses after the wash! I highly recommend!

Lemi Shine
Lemi Shine This product is the absolute bomb! It works, really works, on all hard water buildup, stains, anything that gets hit with hard water, period! I live in a place where the water is not just hard, it's positively diamond like. Example: I've tried absolutely everything on my older toilet, from pumice stone, vinegar/baking soda, CLR, tons and tons of other cleaners (violating my own personal- organic- good for the environment- ONLY policy; for shame, for shame!), just to get this stupid toilet clean. Absolutely nothing has worked on this impenetrable, cement like ancient buildup up and stains, not even a butter knife (snapped in half- and I broke a nail, errrrr), would pry the stuff off- I was considering using a jack hammer or similar tool at this point, maybe even a sledge hammer! Frustrated, sweaty, and ready to replace this toilet, like I did with the upstairs toilet- which was in much worse shape, it occurred to me that if the Lemi Shine Dish Detergent Booster I use in a newer dishwasher (does a fabulous job), and older washing machine (you should see the crap that comes out of the pipes), why wouldn't it work in the toilet? I dumped about a cup in, took a shower and went to bed. Next morning, flushed the toilet, and watched in shock as it all just went down the drain! Seriously, it was all gone! This house was built in 1963, the toilet may be as old as that, I inherited all the typical problems associated with older homes when I bought it, including the disgusting toilets and countless plumbing issues. I had been working on the hard water build up for over a year, yes a year, I'm slightly stubborn that way, but now, OMG, it sparkles, really sparkles! It looks almost band new! As my grandma would say โwell bless my beesโ! Then I did a little happy dance, while yelling โI did it, I did it, I got the friggin toilet cleanโ, effectively waking up the entire house, maybe the whole neighbor hood, that's how happy I was! Next is the tub area (Lemi Shine Calcium & Rust Remover spray). I am reluctant to use it on anything made of minerals, including tiles, granite/marble counters/surfaces, natural & ceramic flooring, etc., because it does work so good, regardless of the finish (it might eat the finish away?), for now I'll use it on what I consider to be โsafeโ materials only, and only when there is a buildup happening- like soaking the shower heads, faucets, water jets, bath/hot tubs, glass, mirrors, even my stainless steel appliances like it, etc.! My advice: don't replace your old toilet unless you try this first, it's worth every penny, but be sure to take off your jewelry, and/or wear thick, reusable, rubber gloves! Thanks Lemi Shine, if your CEO shows up at my house I'll gladly let him use the privy, lol ;)

Works well with my hard water.
It works with our hard water. No more white spots on my dishes, not since I started using it a few years ago. I half-fill the soap dispenser pockets on the dishwasher door with liquid Cascade, then top off with this.

Be Careful What You Wash With This!
Since they remove phosphorous from dishwasher detergent, suddenly everything in my dishwasher was coming out coated with a gritty white film (we have very hard water). Enter Lemishine & Voila! Shiny clean dishes again! HOWEVER... Be very careful what you wash in the dishwasher with it. The citric acid will destroy any finish on enameled cookware & after awhile you may notice that your dishes look dull & don't feel as smooth as they used to. Lemishine slowly erodes the finish on some dishes. I have used Lemishine for over a decade & have found it cleans one set of my dishes perfectly, but a different set is losing its finish & are becoming dull & rough. Hand cleaning doesn't fix the damage. The citric acid slowly ate it away. It also neatly wiped off the design on some glassware I was dumb enough to put in the dishwasher. I guess the answer is to not use this with anything you really care about. I'm looking for an alternative hard water treatment & I'll switch if I can find one that does the job without citric acid, but so far this does the best job & I'm now washing more dishes by hand.

Less spots
We have very hard water and I find that this helps so much with spotting. I just pour a little in the bottom of my dishwasher or no measurement just a little and I think it helps balance the hardness of the water and my dishes to look cleaner. And clearer.

Magic powder many uses. Nonchemical and actually works.
This stuff works great for a multitude of uses. it is marketed for dishes, so let me talk about that first. My husband is the one who does the dishes in our house. He usually uses dawn dish soap however we recently switched to a more eco-friendly plastic free dish soap option. It is a powder that you mix with water to create the dish soap. It is not Sudsy, but it works pretty well. My husband added a little bit of this dish detergent booster to the dish soap bottle and is currently washing dishes with it. I decided to write this review because of what I am hearing lol. He is saying things like, โWow! Holey crap! Normally this pan would have to soak for so long and then I would have to scrub the shit out of it, but I just dipped it in the water and ran the sponge over it lightly and all the stuff came off.โ he also was quite amused when he ran his finger across a plate and it made a squeaking noise he said โwow itโs never made that sound before.โ he also said โ I canโt believe I am going to say thisโฆ Butโฆ It is better than Don.โ now for its other awesome usesโฆ I put a little bit in a bowl of water and stuck it in the microwave. Ran the microwave so it created steam. To be fair this is how I generally clean the microwave and the steam always helps so I donโt have to do much scrubbing, with this, I didnโt have to do any scrubbing just wiped everything down good as new. I sprinkled a small amount in my bathroom sink which I had filled with water. I took a cloth and wipe down mirror and counter and back of faucet. Well, the whole faucet, but the back where sometimes build up happens was extra clean. I should mention I dipped the cloth into the water in the sink before wiping these surfaces down. They looked fantastic and after draining the sink, it looks the cleanest it has ever looked. And my absolute favorite use for this productโฆ I sprinkled a little on the crusty parts of round my burner on my gas stove. Then spray it down with my all purpose cleaner which to be fair is mostly orange oil so that could also affect things. I let it sit for a while, then scrub it off. It actually comes off, which is something I have never experienced before. No matter how often I clean under my burners it still looks gross and crusty not anymore. I love this stuff. And it does all of these awesome things without chemicals. It is going to be a staple in my house from now on.

Lemi Shine is the Motรถrhead of dish chemicals
Works great. Been using for a couple years. Really helps if you are in a hard water area. I use powder detergent. No phosphates any more. And with the addition of the Leno Shine - perfectly clean glasses and dishes

Best product!
Can't live without this stuff for our dishwasher! We have terribly hard water and was at the point of washing it out by hand every 3-4weeks due to everything slowly clogging dut to mineral build up. No products locally available and found this. Made our dishwasher like new again and works great! I wish I had a before and after photo! I use a bit with every load to prevent the build up and dishes come out nice and clear!

Totally impressed with the first use!
We were blaming the (very) old dishwasher in the house that we purchased for the streaks and cloudiness on our dishes. But when we replaced the dishwasher, we found we had the same issue and discovered that the water is really hard here. The reviews on this product were impressive although I did hesitate due to the price, but I'm very happy that I took the plunge and tried it. With the very first use, the glasses are now shiny and clear and the cutlery is starting to come back to its normal shine.

Clean dishes
I never write reviews but this I feel was warranted We live in an area with very hard water. No matter what dishwasher detergent we used our dishes had hard water film on them. We tried Lemi Shine and they are finally clear. Truly a God send.
