How can I get the color I want?

Do I need to use the backing fabric?

The backing fabric is used for rips, cuts, and holes larger than 1/4 of an inch. Surface damage, such as peeling or scratched areas, is not suitable for the backing fabric. For surface damage, apply the repair compound directly.

What should I do if the repair result is not good?

If it has already dried, use a cotton swab or cloth dipped in alcohol or acetone to remove it completely. Please note that alcohol may damage the surface, so it’s best to test it on an inconspicuous area first.

Why does the repaired area feel sticky?

For best results, apply thin layers and let each one dry thoroughly. If the patch still feels tacky after 2–3 days, gently wipe it with a cotton pad and high-strength (90%+) alcohol.
