I no longer have to endure needlephobia..
I have avoided going to the doctors for years to prevent having to get blood work. I have thrown up before and nearly passed out many times from my fear. I have had such bad anxiety that anything related to the doctors made me dizzy and avoid them at all costs, even if I was sick. I am the most needlephobic person you would probably ever meet. So in a desperate attempt of finding a way not to have horrible reactions to the test, googling for literal days how to 'not throw up' or 'pass out', I tested out this cream the night before my apt. I was cautious because I read online how it wouldn't work because they would have to use a alcohol wipe before injecting you. But I have found that that is simply not true. Here's what I did: For my inner elbows I put on about 1 tablespooon on each arm (in case they had to use the other arm) and rubbed it in. I then put saran wrap around it somewhat tightly. I then waited for at least an hour. I gooped some more on, let it absorb, and headed to my blood work appointment. I sat in the chair, and I practiced my guided breathing with headphones in (breathing in, holding for a few seconds, then releasing slowly), and it was over within 40 seconds. It honestly felt like 2 seconds. When I tell you I didn't feel anything, I mean I didn't even know it happened. There were no sensations AT ALL. I was expecting to feel a pinch or a tug and it never came. I felt a tube laying next to my wrist (no cream was put there) and that was IT. The entire injection site was successfully numbed for about 2 hours before it slowly wore off. I asked the lady twice whether she did it and she said yes because I couldn't believe it. I didn't even feel anything in my veins. I am blown away at how simple this solution is for how huge of an issue blood work has been for me. It is a little expensive for the size, but if you are just getting an IV or blood work it is a decent amount to use at least 3 times. I will use this product everytime, this has been life changing. I'm writing this right after I got blood work done and I am not dizzy or woozy. For someone who hates needles, this is a big day for me. Don't think of this product as a crutch, think of it as a way to alleviate any suffering you have to go through when you're already scared. I truly think that the anxiety comes from not the pain of blood work but the slight sensation of knowing a needle is inside of you. When you eliminate that sensation, it prevents your brain from having to react at all. Seriously, buy this.

Great for tattoo
Used as a tattoo numbing cream and did a great job of reducing the pain.

Pretty happy with this
Update: *Used this a second time. This time I applied it once and wrapped it for about 40 minutes. The numbing effect wasn't as good as my previous method, but still helped.* Pretty happy with this. Unfortunately we wasted an hour of numbness with changes and prep. I didn't feel a thing for the first 5-10 minutes once he started. I got another 30-45 minutes out of it where I felt the pain but it took the edge off. I was worked on for 4 hours and this made it all very tolerable. I outlasted the artist. Application I used: a super thick layer coverrd with saran for 45 minutes. Another layer and covered for 30 mins. Wiped off with baby wipes and paper towels right before I went in. Was super numb 10 minutes later. I used 3/4 of the jar. It's expensive but worth. Easiest tat to date!

Mind Blowingly Numb
Okay so here’s what’s up with this product. It’s a 10/10 from me 10000% due to the fact that I got this for tattoo use. I applied a thin layer first, let it dry, then gooped on a second layer and covered in plastic wrap for about an hour and a half. Now, there was a bit of a burning/numbing sensation but I really had no clue how numb I was until my dad grabbed a fork and poked at me about an hour in… NOT A THING, maybe some pressure and cold-ish sensation but absolutely zero pain. I was shooketh to my core and to think it had only been an hour. I left it on for about thirty forty more minutes and then took everything off and washed with soap and water… ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Crazy sensation too, pretty cool, and as a science connoisseur I had to trial run and peer review this product first. I even grabbed a couple box openers and butter knifes to gently poke and prod at my skin, ZILCH, ZADA, ZIP, NOTHING. NO MAAM, NOT A THING. That was at noon, it’s now almost 3:30 and this section of my arm is cold stone numb STILL. This reminds me of the nerve block injection surgeons have to give you prior/post surgery, it’s that effective. I’ll update again once my sister and I actually get the tattoos. Since this was just a test run, I am extremely impressed and for such a SMALL amount, to think it could do all this ????? My sister is deathly afraid needles and I can only imagine the anxiety relief she may feel after we use this product a few hours before our appointment. DEFINITELY BUY if you’re on the fence with these other numbing creams, I get it, but this is #1 on the list for a reason. I can only imagine it’s other useful benefits, although this seems to be more of a surface level numb and less than a muscle deep type numb. I’ll use it on my bum knee and ankle and see if it does anything too, look out for an update sometime soon on pain relief and tattoo help !!!!! :)

Used for MICRONEEDLING --- Between this and Ebanel brand, I'd say go with Ebanel.
I ran out of Ebanel numbing cream, so I brought this brand for microneedling. I applied it to my face, waited for about 30 minutes, washed it off, poked at my face with my fingers to make sure it was numb, and then proceeded to microneedle. I felt little pain with the shorter needles, but with the deeper needles, I definitely felt pain and had to stop the microneedling session early. This was not the case when using Ebanel numbing cream. I had no problems using the longer needles, and I have microneedled plenty of times using Ebanel. Next time, I am going to try leaving the numbing cream on longer and see if that works. If not, I will go back to using Ebanel. The only reason I bought this brand was because it was a lightning deal. I am giving it three stars because it does numb but very superficially. Hope my review helps! I will update after giving this brand one more try during my next microneedling session. Read my other review for the serum I use when I microneedle.

Does work!
Works great for a tattoo, I took a shower, exfoliated, shaved the area, I rubbed in a thin layer at first, let that dry. Then I went back in with a thicker layer of cream, covered it with cling wrap, and let it sit for atleast an 30 mins- 1hour, I have used this again and kept it on for about an hour and a half, my leg was numb the whole time before, during and after the tattoo for a bit. No pain. Easy to use. Application is easy as well. Doesn’t feel greasy either feels like a lotion. I have sensitive skin and this gave me no skin irritation.

I applied it pretty liberally to my entire face
TL;DR: works really well, just really expensive for such a small amount of product. I purchased this numbing cream for dermarolling my face. Per the instructions that came on a small card with the product, I applied it pretty liberally to my entire face. I covered my face with a sheet of saran wrap and ripped holes in it for my nose and eyes. (Please be careful and don't suffocate yourself.) My lips went numb very very quickly, followed by the rest of my face. I waited 15 minutes and then got started with dermarolling. I peeled the saran wrap off of my forehead and carefully folded it down so it wasn't blocking my nose, but was still covering the rest of my face. I used a damp cloth to gently wipe the cream off of my forehead. It's hard to tell if you're being too rough, as I literally couldn't feel ANYTHING. This was my first time using a 1.0 mm dermaroller, but it was AMAZING! I couldn't feel a thing and that made it so easy to do the treatment. Previously, I was using a .5 mm roller and trying to numb my face with that aloe gel that has lidocaine in it to soothe sunburns. That stuff was torture. I should have ordered a real numbing cream earlier. I moved onto one side of my face, followed by the other side. As time passed, the numbing effect wore off to the point where I had to be more cautious. I was able to dermaroll my entire face and most of my neck with ease and without whining. Next time, I will try starting earlier and working faster. The only downside is how expensive this product is. 1 Oz seems like it's only going to last for 2-4 applications, and that's assuming I don't do two layers to increase the numbing effect.
