GreenView Seed Success is recycled newspaper coated with a water absorbent polymer, tackifier, and minimal starter fertilizer. When applied as label directed (please contact us at customerservice@lebsea.com to request a copy of the label) it is safe for your dog to walk through the treated area once watered and dried. However this product is not safe for ingestion; if there is any risk of ingestion or if there is an allergy to any of the ingredients - do not apply this product. Thank you!

Thank you for your inquiry! GreenView Seed Success is a bio-degradeable seeding mulch that will keep grass seed where you plant it. Also, the product has a small amount of starter fertilizer in it. This product will not kill anything, but help new grass seed to germinate.
