I do make fresh every 3 days so I only use the last 100g of my made yoghurt as the base for the next batch **Q: What are the dimensions of this product?** A: 21cms high x 18cms diameter (back to front) holds about 1.35 litres **Q: Can you make soft cheese in this? Thanks** A: I have little idea of how to make cheese, but if it needs warmth this would provide it and as it comes with a mesh straining container you can strain it. I know some people strain yogurt until very thick and then call it soft cheese - it will do that. We have been making homemade yogurt and whey the past two weeks and it’s so much better than the store bought stuff - I love that you get a strainer container as well for extra thick yogurt! 10/10 and so simple to use ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recommended but without a built in timer *by J***S on 6 February 2025* This yoghurt maker works very well. It is well made and easy to clean. I have now been using it for two months and once I was in a routine it proves very simple to produce good yoghurt. I prefer Greek yoghurt so I strain it for a few hours and the result is perfect. The hardest part is timing. Eight hours for the initial curdle(?) and then about three hours for the straining. If you forget and leave it too long the results are unpredictable. I recommend starting early in the morning and completing everything during the day. If you forget and leave it draining overnight you can probably plaster the wall with it in the morning. Or you might like it like that, who knows.
