Great product
I was starting to have a real problem seeing babies in my tub, never had this issue before but as soon as I put this out on a few small strips of stock paper I started seeing them die the next morning not even a full day later. I had seen full grown adults here and there through out the house but since I put this around I haven’t seen any. Before placing the bait I paid attention to where they run to hide and that’s where I put the bait. Very easy to use, I think it’ll be enough to get me through for a while. They love this stuff they’re very attracted to it. It does dry quickly but it seems they still will eat it and I’ll replace it every two weeks for several months to make sure the problem goes away. Even though many babies died, I still see one or two but I just got the bait less than a week ago so I know it’s an on going effort. Very satisfying to see them die. Highly recommend

Kills bugs deceased.
So… my landlord is not great… something I think a lot of us know about… and I’m pretty sure the pest control guy is fleecing the property manager by not insisting on a full building treatment and instead only going apartment by apartment to spray poison… that doesn’t work… I confronted the pest control guy and at first he tried to bs me by telling me that if I was having roach problems then I should tell the property manager and then I caught shame in his eyes when I asked him what good will it do to have him spray my apartment when the roaches will just move into my neighbors apartment until the “poison” barrier dries and stops being as effective as it is when it’s first applied, and likewise I always know when he’s spraying other people’s apartments because the roaches come into my apartment. Heck, I saw roaches **in the hallway** before I got a single one of my things moved in. I kept all my furniture in the garage with a roach bomb until they came and sprayed the apartment. Little did I know that the spray didn’t do a damn thing. Cut to last week. I finally get a chance to apply this stuff. It comes out like really thin caulk but it isn’t super sticky… I’m sure the instructions say something about putting little lentil sized beads of poison every foot or so… but I ignored that. There’s a lot of spaces and cracks and crevices in my apartment so I squeezed pea sized beads into everywhere I could find that would fit a pea sized bead, and sometimes just put a spaghetti tangle if there was a big enough gap at the floorboards. It’s mostly easy to squeeze the gel out, but take frequent breaks to stretch your wrists… you’ll thank me later. It isn’t messy, thankfully, and the floorboard gaps are big enough that I don’t have to worry about the cats getting into it and getting poisoned. The roaches, however… oh man 😈 I’ve been finding dead bug after dead bug after dead bug. And all different types: German, Wood, brown banded… and I’m pretty sure I saw a dead wood louse as well. So it’s extremely toxic to roaches. Much more so than the “poison” that the pest control guy has been using. Before I started using this stuff, I would see these creepy looking wood roaches with deformed wings from where (I assume) the poison from the commercial pest control guy didn’t finish the job. I never saw a single dead roach (just deformed ones) until I started using this gel. Now I need to sweep the kitchen every morning to get rid of the neighbors dead roaches. Which, you would think I’d be mad, but I’m not. I’m happy they’re not alive and crawling around my apartment. (I don’t keep food out, I don’t keep dishes out. If there’s pantry food that gets opened, it goes into the fridge. With the dishes and silverware. Like where normal human people keep dishes and silverware) Anyhow, 10/10 and I’m not even halfway done with the first tube. It’s cheaper per application than the national brand and it kills all the roach species, not just the little round ones. And it’s more reliable than an apartment manager and the pest control guy.

I won the BATTLE but the war is still on!
I wish I took a picture of the roach graveyard but it was too disgusting I had to clean it up. We were overwhelmed with roaches. They were getting into EVERYTHING. We planned a 10 day family vacay and I was worried they would literally takeover our house while we were gone, because at night when we were asleep they would literally cover the floor. I’d turn lights on and they would scatter. I originally thought bug bombs and roach bait traps were enough to get rid of them but I was wrong. They didn’t do anything. I did my own research and learned about advion roach bait. I purchased it and tried it in my bathroom. The following days I spent sweeping up roach carcasses. Then I knew I needed to invest in really getting rid of this infestation. I learned that I need a 3 prong approach. I needed 1. bait, which is considered a non-repellent (the roaches think it’s food so they eat it, go back to their nests and die then the other roaches eat the carcasses and then those roaches also get poisoned and die) , 2. gentrol , which is roach birth control-(this stops them from reproducing. Roaches quickly reproduce which cause infestations, IGR stops this from happening as well as stops the baby roaches growth) . 3. On the spot roach killer-novacide, this is an aerosol that is sprayed on your carpet or floors overnight. When the roaches scurry across the treated area it kills them instantly. I also ordered food grade diatomaceous earth. This sticks to their bodies and dries them out, thus killing them. I worried about having all these chemicals in my home but I also knew the roaches brought filth into our home as well. So I planned to use them while we were gone on vacation. The day we left I spent the entire day decluttering and deep cleaning our entire home. No corner was left uncleaned. If there was a stack of papers I hadn’t touched in a while, there was sure to be a disgusting nest of roaches under it. So every single item was either thrown away or closed up in an airtight bag. Clothes hanging in closets were put in airtight bags as well as clothes in drawers. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING was left out. Any bedding on our beds were also put in airtight bags as well as pillows. As we packed, I washed clothes and they went straight from the dryer to our suitcases then straight to the car till we left to the airport. once the house was cleaned and everyone was out, I began placing advion in high traffic places, and in every single corner of our house. I placed gentrol discs everywhere I saw them gathering. Under our couches and tables I poured the diatomaceous earth. I also poured it around the base of our beds, under and behind drawers, the refrigerator and oven as well as any furniture that was too heavy to chuck out of the house completely. I sprayed the floor as I was leaving the house with novacide (aka PT ultracide) to get those roaches that didn’t eat the advion. When we returned after our 10 day vacay the floor was littered with dead roaches. We still see them scurrying around but not nearly as many as before. I plan to keep up with everything to keep their numbers down so I’ll be purchasing a different roach bait. I read somewhere that you have to switch it up every 3 months but I’m switching every month and using maxforce roach bait next along with the gentrol, novacide, and diatomaceous earth.wish me luck

Get this in your bug beating arsenal!
We randomly started seeing roaches in our kitchen after several years living in our place and never having that problem. I am TERRIFIED of bugs so you can imagine my stress when that started up. We did take several steps before ordering this product that I believe did help, so I will share them as I hope it can help others. Sorry for the long review! I put stars where I talk about this product specifically, but if you are reading this - I figure you need all the help and tips you can get!! We live in a condo and one of our kitchen walls is on the opposite side of our neighbor's. (She claims to not have seen any bugs, but that is another story for another day.) We started by identifying where we were seeing the bugs (floor, countertop, wall?) and it was mostly closest to the side we share with her. We often get up pretty early (4 - 6 AM a lot) and that is one of the times I would see one randomly appear. One day, I was in the kitchen and turned my back for a minute while cooking and when I turned back there was one in our coffeemaker area, right above the dishwasher! I later realized it came from the tiny sliver of space that is above our dishwasher (I eventually witnessed it come out) and that is a very common hiding space so you will definitely want to investigate this area in your home. They also really like coffee, apparently, which made sense why those mornings I would see them near this space. We did use some diatomaceous earth as one of the first steps, though I probably went a bit heavy with that in some of the more common corners and areas, so be careful near your dishes, silverware, cookware storage etc. I think it's effective for sure and was so desperate for solutions, but sometimes I still see little puffs of powder on a pan or something and that is annoying. Next, we cleared our countertops as much as possible to minimize the hiding spaces for them and make them easier to spot (no loaves of bread out, no bananas, etc). We saw one right below a cabinet, on the wall, so we cleared that side of cabinets, using plastic bags to pack up our teas, canned goods and other things -- moving them to a different cabinet where we never see them come from. We made sure bags like chips, packs of cookies like Oreos, cereal, sugar, spices, coffee are closed well with a chip clip, and packed away. Then, we closed off those bags (just a simple knot for easy access) but that gave us peace of mind that nothing was getting in our pantry/food items. Next, you MUST seal out any new bugs. Look beneath and on the side of any of those wall cabinets. If there is a gap or space of any size between the wall and the fixture, you need to seal it with caulk. Even a tiny hole should be filled, especially if you share a wall with a neighbor. For under our sink where the pipes go far back, I used diatomaceous. After all food was stored away, holes and gaps were sealed and some more unreachable areas were diatomaceous we did see a significant decrease. Look into how these insects reproduce. It takes so many days for them to mature etc and you want to minimize them being able to grow eat and live. About the Advion ***** We only used it near the spaces we saw bugs the most. I followed most of the suggestions and placed a small dot onto a few little pieces of cardboard (tear up a clean tampon box or something). Because this is BAIT, we didn't want to attract them in areas they weren't really coming from. We were already going out of town for a few days so it was perfect because I did not want to see the bugs come out to get the bait (I never did witness that, though for the record). We put a few squares into the cleared out cabinets, I did a dab or two in the area above the dishwasher (out of sight, so hopefully they'd eat it before I see them), we slid a square under the stove, and I did a dab right behind it as well because we have a little gap there too and a bug had gotten away from me one day under the stove (yuck). We ended up removing the bottom drawer of the stove to access it for cleaning underneath. Get this area VERY well to get any crumbs, gooey stuff, grime... all things they feed on. You may be shocked to see what is under your stove feeding or giving them hiding spots. If you're in doubt about a hole or opening, either caulk it up or determine if that maybe somewhere worth baiting them. I liked the application of this because they give you 4 tubes. We didn't even use one whole one, so we still have 3 left. I really like that you get a reusable pointy tip to distribute the product (be sure to rinse well and let it air dry before storing back into the case). I used something sharp, pointy to clear excess product from the applicator tip. They say don't use a lot of it, but under our stove we found a significantly sized gap/opening near the gas line that runs into the ground. These type of areas are perfect hiding/transport spots for them! So we kind of gunked it up around there, as we didn't plan on going back to look anytime soon, if all went well. And hopefully they'd have a nice layer of bait to "eat through" before they could even travel or hide in the hole. We stopped seeing bugs within the same week. ******* Journey continued: I was skeptical at first, since I had been seeing one or two a week, sometimes 2 days in a row. I absolutely think this product is worth buying, but if you REALLY want to combat your bug problem you need to inspect where they're coming from, seal openings and clear ANY hiding and food sources! - I think the diatomaceous helped in the short term while we completed the other steps and waited for this product to come, but again be super careful with that stuff it can be messy and just annoying to clean up. I would only use it SPARINGLY in places you can very easily clean later. Also, avoid treating with diatomaceous or boric and then immediately using bait. Apparently you shouldn't really use both at the same time, because the diatomaceous can negate other treatments... while we did use both, a few weeks had passed between the DE and Advion. - If you can, try to "watch" where they come from or try to hide from you before killing it, try to do that so you can see where they are getting in/out or hiding (note: apparently you are not supposed to smash them, I use a bug spray, pick it up and clean the area immediately). Ex: The bug that got away from me ran under the stove so that is how we figured to clean + bait under there. - Do your research. I think this stuff works great but if your problem is really bad already or seems to be getting worse, you may want to consider the IGR (insect growth regulators) as well. We never ended up purchasing any of that but look into when/how to use those to help you. I think I covered most of the tips and I wish you the best of luck. Bugs are such a terrible stress so I hope you can get some peace again soon!!

The tubes are the best thing I found for a German cockroach eradication
The method is effective. I reside in an apartment building, and it is a challenging decision to choose between this or that arena. It appears that tubes will be slightly more effective (but that means they will consume the bait!). I have observed some emerging after consuming the bait 30 minutes later. I visited the exterminator to inquire about any changes. I found two German roaches cowering, and I hope they share the bait with the rest of their family, and they will all be eliminated soon. My exterminator sprays once every four weeks, and she recommended purchasing the brand arenas they are accustomed to. After six months, I have reduced the infestation to a minimum. I have one bottle. I recently noticed their filthy little babies scampering around. Perhaps they will consume the deceased ones and perish. I will place a fourth tube after the exterminator sprays a few days later or as she instructs. I have completely eradicated these tiny bugs. If I encounter one bug (after 13 years in my villa), I will shoot the landlord in the face. If they do not spray the surrounding units simultaneously, it will not be effective. The exterior must spray every unit in the two-story building with ten units. It is not that difficult. I understand that people have to work and want to be there (it’s the landlord). I will inform you if they are gone in an 800 square foot one-bedroom apartment with four tubes. I know that the arenas last longer and do not die as quickly, so I will purchase the tubes. You do not want to caulk with them; they do exactly what it says: place a pea-sized bait in the area where you see them, and they will emerge and die. If you see baby roaches, try to get them quickly. I believe that two months, eight tubes, and a once-a-month exterminator should eradicate the roaches within 60 days, with a maximum of 90 days. I have done everything! EVERY SINGLE THING at Lowe’s Home Depot. This is the only method that has ever made me feel like it is working. If you encounter German roaches, purchase this one with four tubes. Place it on corners and trash cans in any spots where you have seen a few. In two to three months, you should not have any problems (I will buy a four-tube round and use one tube, ensuring that I do not miss any exterminator appointments). Upon my stove replacement, I encountered a pest infestation. To my surprise, they purchased a used stove. Despite residing in a desirable area with a one-bedroom unit priced at $1850, including a parking spot, I have not encountered any pests. However, I have found a deceased insect and some that I have trapped using sticky tape. I recommend this , nothing at any big box stores will not work as well as this one. I know I was trying everything before I broke down and called a professional. Took this method 3- 31/2 months to eradicate German cockroaches . In a onrr free bedroom 4 months one 4 tubes per month ( drop 2 tubes, the next tube when you see they have eaten the bait 2 nd abd 3rd ect Week one 2 tubes 7 days later one tube where they ate all the poison. And round 4th tube to get next generation .! Is my method . Clean the dead bugs and flush them out with toilet or put in garbage bag run it out to the curb. In case these crazy aliens 👽 I swear they will reproduce dead ! Or the baby’s will be born if I could put them in a envelope all the dead land stuff my $1850 rent check in there with them ℹ totally woukd ! I said I will if this doesn’t work ( luckily it’s working) lol 😂 seriously I can joke about it now it’s working. And I can have a house guest again. I willl be honest and tell you straight if this stops working I’ll tell you rt away , so far the tubes are good 👍🏼 p.s. sticky tarps $8.00 ones got the baby’s . I’ll find the link but it’s not Amazion
