I have had a very stiff and tight neck and shoulders for quite a while. I was delighted to find this massager on line. I only use it for 5 or more minutes at a time and have found it to be very helpful in reducing the tightness. It really feels like someone is massaging the knotted areas in my neck and shoulders.

I bought this for severe sacroiliac joint pain and neck and shoulder tension. I used it as soon as it arrived and started with lower back and worked upwards—I manipulated it so pressure points hit where I needed. I spent about 1.5-2 hours on my back, neck, shoulders and stomach using bed pillows to apply more pressure to my back, shoulders and neck. The mechanical strength of the massagers maintained and remained strong and steady. When I get a massage I need very deep tissue massaging and have a high pain tolerance—I say this to emphasize how I used this massager. Today, the day after I used the massager for the first time, my muscles and tendons are sore from the massager BUT in a way that lets me know the pressure from the massager was deep enough. And, my sacroiliac joint is not throbbing this morning and have been able to walk without constant pain today. I rarely write reviews—usually forget about it but, when you’re literally in constant pain and use something that relieves your constant pain you cant forget about it. I am very happy to report this massager has been a pleasant surprise. I have relief from sacroiliac pain for the first time in so long that I can’t remember. So, I did manipulate the massager and maneuvered it so that it would massage one side of my lower back in the areas I need. I used bed pillows to keep pressure where I wanted it. Sometimes lighter and sometimes more pressure—depending on need. The mechanics of the massager did not wane or struggle—they remained strong and consistent in strength. Impressed enough to write the longest review of my life—and I’m over 55. This is only the first day so I will update if anything changes. Yes! Buy it and manipulate it to work for your needs! This massager works like it says. It is quite heavy, and I need to adjust it to hit the right spots on my neck that are the most sore. The arm belts are actually loops where you can insert your arms to keep it in position. So that means I cannot do a lot more than watch TV, when I am using this product. Turning the power button on sets the rolling balls in motion, and they work in a circular motion to massage the sore spots. You can also turn on the heating. I almost always turn on the heating, but it is advised not to use this mode for far too long. I have never used it for more than 10 minutes at a time, using the combination of the rotating motion and heat does provide some relief, but this product has to be used a few times along with some more stretching exercises to get rid of the neck pain. I like that the rotating balls are bi-directional and change the rotation every few minutes. For the price I paid, I thought that it was a very decently crafted product. If it wasn’t as heavy and cumbersome, I would probably use it a bit more. I have had massaging cushions that you just put on the chair and then sit back into it. For those, I did not have to hold them up and they got a little more use than this one, that I use only when the pain gets so intense that I have to use it. It is much better to use it on a recliner so that some of the weight of the product can be mitigated by reclining chair back a little bit. Overall, I gave it four stars for my personal experience, but if you don’t mind the weight of the product, and the limited range of the rotating balls hits your pain points, I think this is an excellent massager for the price.

My husband was having a really stiff neck for almost a week...we bought this massager...he tried it for several days in a row with the heat...great results...neck noticeably improved after 2nd day. The fact that it has to be plugged in to use has not been an issue.

I've purchased probably 15 of these things. I've gotten some that were really well built and sturdy. And I've gotten some that were just alright. Then, there's ones like i just got. Crap, total crap. It won't stay plugged in in my car. As in it's car power supply is subpar. I had to take my adapter to actually plug it in for it to work. The buttons are located on the inside. That's the first time I've seen that. Not caring for that feature. It's not as strong in the actual motor. You can hear it winding down.
