If they are from California, I think Aiva would want to feature that in print. Therefore, I don't really know or maybe it is trust because I am so cynical about these things that the raisins indeed are from CA. Other than that, they are colorful, juicy and still preserved well many moths after making the initial purchase. Unlike some other reviews, I did not notice any unpleasant smell. I have used them in cookies, yogurt and salads.
