I recently got my hands on the Squishy Maker Station - Amazon Exclusive Edition for my 6-year-old, and let me tell you, it's been a hit at our house! This DIY kit is a game-changer for any kid who loves crafts and squishies. First off, the set comes with everything you need, which is a relief. There are plenty of molds and colors, so my kiddo was able to start creating right out of the box without any extra trips to the store. The instructions were clear enough that she could get going on her own, but I jumped in because, honestly, it looked like fun. The process itself was a blast. We've spent hours designing and making these squishies, and it's amazing to see my daughter's imagination come to life. She's made everything from a galaxy-themed cat to a neon, sparkly pineapple. The quality of the final products really surprised me—they're super squishy and have held up well, even after being squished about a million times. Cleanup is pretty easy, too, which is a huge plus in my book. Most of the materials are simple to wipe off the table and tools. If I had to pick a downside, it would be that you can run out of the materials fairly quickly if you're as enthusiastic as we are. But honestly, it's well worth the price for the amount of fun and creativity it's sparked in my child. All in all, the Squishy Maker Station is a fantastic buy for any kid (or kid at heart) who loves to create and play. It's not just a toy but a wonderful way to spend quality time together, making something you can actually hold (and squish) at the end of the day. Highly recommend!

Durable, good quality, easy to make

My nieces have been begging for this! They love it! They won't stop begging me to make Squishies everyday! The only con is the kit didn't come with anything to permanently seal the squishy. It came with the clips but those are reusable to make more. So I just used a hair rubber band to seal them. I guess I will have to buy something to seal them.

This set is extremely overpriced for what it comes with. It also was defective, as the dome would not seal, making it impossible to expand the balloon. I had bought it really early for Christmas, and went missing for weeks before arriving. I had bought it really for Christmas so they would not let me return it after the holiday because the return period had passed, even though it was defective. You could achieve the same fun with your own homemade slime and balloons. Don't waste your money on this product or with this seller, both are bad.

So my daughter likes slime and squishy toys and watched some videos of Dr Squish with this Squishy Maker kit. She wanted one so I figured, sure why not - I ordered one. When we received it she was thrilled...until we started using it. After reading the instructions and watching a video, we still had multiple issues with the squishy latex bulb thingys bursting and making a mess -- thank the Lord we have a Bissel spot vac. Yes, doing this around carpet floor = bad idea in the first place, sure. So, we moved to the kitchen and a hard tile floor. Once again, we had issues where the latex bulbs wouldn't stay sealed on the top of the vacuum chamber, snapping off the rim after having the water put inside of it. At this point, we're not having much fun with this product, the trial and error made it be NOT fun. The little dinky plastic clamp never seemed to properly seal the twisted bulbs, after testing various pressures and twice it made an inconvenient mess -- bursting like a volcano in our kitchen. So, it's a no for us. These things don't seem to properly seal, and the product is just too prone to failure -- causing a complete mess. Luckily the red ink didn't stain the carpet and the spot vac was able to pull it up. After our unfortunate experience with this product, I can't recommend it. Others mileage may vary but for me and my daughter, it was a waste of money and a disappointment. It's a disaster waiting to happen until the creators design a better a product.
