Great boosters
This is a great booster for your antenna. It works so well. I received 80 HD channels and im 40 miles from the big city.

Fast shipping and no issues.
I purchased this to have a back up when the booster I am using finally stops working. Seems like a nice product.

Works as advertised
It seems to do what it’s supposed to do—which is boost the signal gain from the antenna do your TV by a few decibels (about 15 to 21dB). Honestly, I noticed only slight improvement. Yes, the signal gain went up noticeably, but that didn’t solve my problems. So, keep in mind that this unit does work as advertised; however, it’s not a magic pill. It boosts the signal that it receives from the antenna by a few decibels. My problem is that my antenna was too small to begin with. I was running an RCA ANT751. It’s a rather small Yagi-style antenna with only 8 pairs of elements. The more elements your antenna has, the higher the gain it has. So my antenna was weak to start with. This amplifier set works, but remember that it’s only one component of your set up. You also need to have the largest antenna with the most elements that you can afford and have space for, and you need good quality coax cable in the shortest lengths possible to get the signal from the antenna to your TV. Finally, you need a good TV tuner. TV tuners are just like AM/FM radios. Some tuners are good and some are not. If your TV is older than about 2015, consider buying a newer TV or an aftermarket TV tuner. So this amp works but it only boosts the signal that it gets from the antenna a little bit and sends it to your tuner. So get the biggest antenna you can with the most elements you can and mount it as high as you can. After that you’ll know whether or not you even need this amplifier kit.

Total Disappointment
There's nothing like climbing up and down on a ladder in cold weather to install a new gadget on your antenna, only to find out it doesn't work. Before I connected this amplifier, I checked the signal strength with my meter. For a 100 point scale, I was reading 72 on my strong channels and 32-42 on the weak and fringe reception channels. I then connected the amplifier to my antenna. Realizing that if you amplify the signal too much, you can overload your TV and actually lose reception, I set the gain on the amplifier all the way to minimum. I then rechecked my signal strength and everything measured the same as before. Well that makes sense since I had the gain all the way off. So I started increasing the gain in small increments. Each time I increased it, my signal strength actually dropped...weak and strong channels alike. Increasing it further, dropped the signal strength completely to zero on the weak channels. The strong channels still had some signal but itl had dropped from 72 to 32 and was no longer able to generate a picture. This device was totally useless for me as at best it kept the signal as before and at its worse, I lost all channels. I guess this would be great for someone who lives right next to the transmitter and has an overloaded signal. Just connect this amplifier up to reduce it to a watchable image. I am sending this back if they take returns. Oh yeh, now I get to climb back up the 2 stories to disconnect this product and put things back like they were before.
