Is it "waterproof" to 300m? water resistant means i can take a shower with it and that's about it.

Waterproof is a term that is not usually used in the watch industry anymore. ( pusher and crown must be screwed in) Water resistance is the more common term. The meters or atmosphere is what gives you gauge of the resistance. The higher the number the more resistant the watch will be. In this case, this watch is 300 M witch means you can shower, swim and dive with this watch. (As long as the pushers and crown are screwed in. Hope this helps.

The watch side crown was broken and cannot rotate.

The watch’s side crown was broken and couldn’t be rotated to adjust the time. I had to go to Tissot customer service to get it fixed, and they said it would take two weeks. This will be the last time I order a watch from Amazon
