YETI Rambler 12oz Bottle, Stainless Steel, Vacuum Insulated, with Hot Shot

I had an Ember heated mug for home and a separate unheated travel mug for going out. I wanted to downsize to a single awesome mug and got annoyed with charging the Ember, hand cleaning it, and needing charging pads around. I got this Yeti Rambler and it’s awesome. It’s portable, incredibly well-insulated, and timeless in its minimalist style. For example, I tested it with boiling water and it kept it hot for over six hours (with the lid sealed). In fact, it’s so good at keeping my drinks hot that I have to let them cool off before I put the lid on or they can be undrinkable for 20-30 minutes. One more note: I wanted to know whether the lid is BPA-free, and on the Yeti website it says they don’t use BPA in any of their Ramblers. So that’s great too. I’m very happy with this purchase.

This has turned out to be the perfect coffee mug for me. The size is just right to fit under my Bunn MCU without having to struggle or tip it. My coffee stays hot for hours as I sip away at it. The lid seals tight when twisted closed, so even if I drop it or it's laid down flat, it doesn't leak a drip.The stainless steel finish is also great and very durable. In the past I've had travel mugs from other brands where the paint would scratch and chip off over time, leaving them looking old and grungy. With the stainless finish I can drop it, take it out in the garage working on stuff, etc. and not have to worry about the finish getting damaged.

Excellent Quality

Without the lid the Yeti 12-ounce Rambler is 5-11/16", basically 5-3/4" tall. It fits nicely under the Keurig K-Supreme Plus, and the unpainted stainless looks perfect for keeping it with the machine.I had to ditch my Keurig K-Elite when I discovered -- after having my coffee -- that the water reservoir was infested with about 100 ants and eggs. Even after meticulously-thorough repeated cleanings I was still experiencing digestive issues that I surmised were from more than the initial extreme disgust. After an internet search I found out that ants infesting coffeemakers is not uncommon. Now I always check the water reservoir before making coffee! I also had to ditch my 12-ounce Ovente tumbler that poured nicely and kept my coffee hot, but does not fit under the new Keurig.The Yeti 12-ounce Rambler is sized right to fit under this Keurig. It is great, as all Yetis are. But I give the 12-ounce Rambler only 4 stars because of the "Hot Shot" cap. I wish they offered an alternative top for it. This "gas cap" style is complicated, bulky and, although it is great for drinking directly out of, if you want to pour from it into a cup, like I do, it dribbles down the outside. Yeah, that is not good. But, because I am willing to compromise on function for its fantastic form with the Keurig, I still like it very much. I just hope I can find a simple alternative cap for it that pours better, then I would like it even more.
