Great Product

The headphones are great. The noise cancellation teleports you to another world. Honestly everything is good, comfort, build, quality, sound in general. The only thing keeping me rating this 9/10 instead of 10/10 is the bass. The bass isn't that great but still good enough.

Purchased Sony XM6 Headset couple of days and loving it so far. ANC on this headphones were on next level. i also currently own an apple airpod 2. this headset isn't loud as the airpod 2 but the sound quality is much better when you compare to the airpods. Battery life is excellent its been 2 days and i have charged only once still at 50% despite using more often.

By far the best headphones ive ever had. The ear pads are soft and dont squash my glasses against my head, which after a time used to hurt. These dont, they are great. Noise cancelling is brilliant. Would recomend no problem.

The Sony WH-1000XM6 delivers fantastic sound quality with rich detail and a balanced profile that makes music a joy to listen to. Comfort and battery life are excellent, and the app features add real value. However, while the noise cancelling is strong overall, I wish it did a better job of blocking sharp sounds like metro announcements, which can break the immersion. Still, a great pair of headphones for music lovers.

I purchased this product in September 2025, and initially, it worked perfectly for a few months. However, after around 3–4 months, I started noticing a hissing sound coming from the right earcup. It went away on its own, so I ignored it at the time.Unfortunately, after about 6 months, the issue returned, this time much worse. The sharp hissing noise was extremely uncomfortable and honestly felt like it could damage my ears.What disappointed me even more than the defect itself was the support experience. I contacted Amazon first, and initially, they agreed to pick up the defective product and issue a refund. Later, they reversed their decision and said they couldn’t take it back. After multiple follow-ups, they again mentioned a “one-time exception” refund, only for a supervisor to step in and deny everything again. In the end, no resolution was provided.Since I was traveling, I reached out to Sony India, but they refused to help, stating that the warranty is only valid in the UAE and advised me to contact either UAE support or Amazon. This led to a frustrating loop where neither party took responsibility.I understand that products can malfunction, that’s normal. But what’s unacceptable is the amount of effort required to get basic support for a flagship product like this. I had to contact multiple teams across regions, spend significant time explaining the issue repeatedly, and still ended up with no solution.Overall, this has been one of the worst post-purchase experiences I’ve had.

The good about this product: Original Sony’s, no doubt. Excellent battery life. Good build quality and sturdy hinges (though newly bought and have not used for extended time). Best in class noise cancellation.The bad about this product: It’s a basic SBC playing device. It may sound better using LDAC on Android phones. But I don’t own one so cannot check. Sony’s own android TVs do not support playback via LDAC which is a shame.In absence of support of better codecs such as AAC/aptx on this headphone, the only thing this expensive headphone can do is to play via SBC which sounds awful. My first generation airpods pro and this headphone sounds the same when connected to Apple devices or Android TVs.The touch controls are poorly implemented. There are too many accidental touches. Have to set prop up in static position or have to disable them entirely to avoid accidental actions.

As someone who has owned both the XM4 and XM5 models, I can say the XM6 is the update I've been waiting for. Sony fixed the main frustrations from the previous version and made it much more practical.Easier to Pack and CarryThe folding design is back. While the previous version looked great, it was bulky to pack. The new magnetic case is also a great touch, it snaps shut easily and is much handier for those of us who actually keep our headphones protected. It's perfect for travelBetter Device Switching & ChargingSwitching between your phone and laptop is finally smooth. You can now manually choose which device is playing the sound, so you don't have to worry about the headphones getting confused between two sources.A massive improvement is the ability to charge while the headphones are on. You can charge the battery without being disconnected from your devices, which gets you back in action easily without the usual downtime.NC & Sound Quality: : It does a better job of cutting out background voices and airplane engines than the XM5. The music is clear and powerful without feeling muffled.

App on phone was a bit of a pain to set up but works OK once they are connected. The ear pads are nice and comfortable. I personally don't think the sound quality reflects the price but that's just my own opinion.

The headphones are amazing and 100% worth the price! Sound quality and depth is great wireless and the noise cancelling is phenomenal especially whilst travelling. I appreciate being able to have two bluetooth devices connected at the same time, as it swaps automatically between them when audio is played (for example I'll have it connected to my Switch, but when I receive a call on my phone itll move there).I appreciate having a button for quickly switching between ANC and Ambient noise - and the ambient / transparency mode is the best I've ever heard, its just as good as taking the headphones off to talk to someone, whereas on my earphones its normally better to just take them out.The touch controls take some getting used to but are good, I wish you could use both sides for navigation but only the right ear cup has the touch sensor.I have these in blue and the colour isnt as vibrant as I would like - in most lighting it looks more like a black plastic thats faded rather than a nice blue colour. I think I'd have chosen black if given the choice, for that bolder colour.

O fone vale cada centavo, compraria de novo a ainda tem parcelamento sem juros, o que é outro diferencial que só se encontra aqui, com esse vendedor. Na rede vizinha, o parcelamento é com juros, pelo menos, onde eu vi.O acabamento do fone é perfeito e extremamente confortável tanta na cabeça quanto nos ouvidos. Ele é leve e compacto pois é possível dobrá-lo, conforme vem na caixa.A caixa é um luxo só, a case não tem nem zíper, pois tem um fecho magnético.
