Arrived defective - Seller Suplander does not uphold Vevor the Manufacters warranty.
BEWARE: Suplander is a 3rd party - NOT VEVOR and they DO NOT uphold VEVOR replacement guarantee. BUY DIRECTLY FROM VEVOR NOT THIS VENDOR. 05/17 - 2000ml Borosilicate Reservoir Glass Flask arrived defective with 3 chipped/cracked areas, (therefore unusable) and I cannot get through to the 3rd seller for help. 06/01 - UPDATE. This seller gave me the run around that lasted about 2 weeks. They offered to "settle" the case by crediting me $70 ($149 purchase) and said that I could to buy another flask elsewhere. Issue is that Vevor has proprietary "neck" sizes, another flask is not available for purchase from other vendors, nor Vevor. I checked Vevors site directly, to see how much a new flask would cost from them. Vevor does state that they do not sell the individuals items separately from the kit. However, Vevor will replace any item from the kit if it comes damages. As was my case. However, Suplander does not uphold the warranty that Vevor offers. Very grateful to AMAZON representative that assisted me with a A-Z case. Thank you Amazon! Long story short. Do not buy from Suplander, buy directly from VEVOR!

The hot plate didn't reach boiling point..
I received my kit yesterday afternoon. I set it up, which wasn't as difficult as I had previously thought. My only suggestion would be that you put the hot plate on a fire/heat safe platform and adjust all the flask holders and what have you according to that height. Setting it up on a flat surface doesn't allow for a proper distance between the beaker for catching hydrosol and the catcher itself. I started some plant material with about 1150mL of water in the flask, at 430/5 PM and took everything down at around 1 AM, and the water never reached boiling point, even at the highest setting. The thermometer is in Celsius, so I had them converted to Fahrenheit and only made it to 90 degrees Celsius. The hot plate wouldn't stay on for longer than 10 seconds. it would click on then, right after turn-off, and did that for 6 hours. Ultimately, don't bother with the hot plate; the flask has a sort of rounded bottom, that isn't fully flat and I think that also may have been a part of the issue. Buy a better one or use your stove somehow, it will get a better distribution of heat that way, otherwise, you may end up wasting HOURS of your life waiting for it to boil water. I wouldn't recommend this hot plate as a cheap alternative to other cheap hotplates; spend a few more dollars on the better ones. All in all, besides the hot plate being janky, it's not a bad setup for the price range.

Meh, just buy the glassware, the "kit" isn't a full kit
Seems well built but incomplete by nature. Could at least throw some cheap food grade screens in the box so it can be used immediately.. and an aquarium pump.. and a hot plate worth a dam* You will need to modify this if you want it to work, wrapping the upper chamber in several layers of tinfoil or some other insulate. Otherwise it will condenser in the material chamber and then fall back into boiling flask. Would be cool if this company gave instructions for some basic tests / experiments. After 3 runs, each 6+ hours long, the only thing I have done is make distilled oregano flavored water.. while the boiling flask is a dark brown color. The distance the steam must travel to reach the arm connecting to the condenser seems to be too far. (I got the 2000ml one). The hot plate, dont even try it. You'll never get to boiling temps. I used a better one with a magnetic stir and an electric feed back thermometer to keep it at a consistent temp. Not sure what im doing wrong... cause... no instructions whatsoever besides how to piece the thing together. Pipetts included are unmarked, so dont expect to be able to measure any millimeters out with anything in this "kit". They even skipped on the sealant(Vaseline). The container its in (small) wasnt even 1/3 full. Glass seems good quality with a few flaws (lines in the glass, not cracks tho so I wont complain about that). I've tried a few different methods now for steam distilling the same herb over and over. Oregano. And every time, all it does is slowly cook the oregano causing it to collapse in the chamber to where the steam/oils simply drip back into the boiler flask where it stays indefinitely regardless of temp.

Maybe assemble your own
Having quite a bit of trouble with this setup so far. Even doing just water distillation has issues with the height of the setup including the biomass flask, which means that even loosely packing that flask will result in browning/enzymatic breakdown of the materials, which is not desired. Also, a Graham condenser is not a safe choice, so had to replace with a Friedrich condenser instead
