Wish there was a pinout before I bought
I bought this to try and run an old CRT monitor (Sony CPD-1304). Wish I had a pinout before buying because I don't think this is going to work (see picture). The cable isn't particularly high quality. I really appreciate that people sell esoteric cables like this, but have to drop a star for quality and lack of pinout.

Can't believe this worked
got an old samsung VGA CRT monitor that used a DB9 on the back, it was missing the cable and figured I would give this a try... much to my amazement this actually worked... also don't pay any attention to the "Serial Port RS232" in the description that's nonsense

Bad Cord
I think it fried my PC! I plugged it in to a machine at work and into a PC and the cord got hot. Then the PC quit working
