Is this muzzle suitable for short-snouted dogs?

Yes, the muzzle for dogs is SUITABLE for short-snouted dogs such as Chihuahua, Shih tzu, Pomeranian, Yorkshire terrier, etc. But NOT suitable for French Bulldog, English bulldog, and Pug.

I have a 40lb dog, which size muzzle would fit him?

Weight should not be used as the sole guide for size. Please measure your dog's snout circumference and snout length before purchasing. Our dog muzzles have 6 sizes, please refer to the size chart for details.

Why does my dog always try to take off the muzzle?

It is normal because they are not familiar with the muzzle, we recommend doing positive training for dogs before putting the muzzle on. Try to give your dog more positive feedback, your dog will feel your attitude.

Can the muzzle be worn for a long time?

Will this muzzle keep my dog from barking entirely?

Unfortunately not. A well-fitted muzzle can prevent your dog from opening its mouth wide, but barking is made in the throat, so it won’t eliminate barking completely. You’ll need to train your dog patiently to fix this habit.

Even XXS is too big

The first picture with the Chihuahua is probably computer animated because the muzzle is much bigger than you’d think. The size should be 3x smaller to fit a tiny snout from an apple face Chihuahua. Perhaps for a bigger hunter face it would be okay. So for us it’s useless.
