Q: How comfortable is this chaise? If you are sitting for a few hours reading, relaxing or whatever, does it become uncomfortable after a period of time?

I personally find it very comfortable. Of course, I can not sit still for a long period of time so if I was reading a book or watching a movie I may get up a few times.

Q: Does your head touch the chair when laying down on it? Also is it firm so your hips don’t sag into the chair? Also does it need assembly?

My head does not touch if I am seated with my lower back against the upright part of the chair. It is pretty firm and comfortable. There is very little assembly - there are two pieces to the chair and four legs.

Q: I'm looking to buy two of these for my living room. Can you sit up in this chair and sip tea or wine?

I would recommend that you have some kind of carpet under this chair. It will slide if you have it on a hard floor. I have actually not tried sipping anything in it...just relaxing. It is comfortable. Perhaps with a pillow behind your back you could sip wine...:)

Q: Is there a weight limit for this chaise?

I am 205 lbs and I can sit on it with no problems. We have had the chaise for about 1 year now and it has withstood 2 children and lots of company.
