Mmmmmmm
I didn't like the first Crio Brew I bought. I used the drip coffee maker. In order to get the results I would have wanted, I would have to use at least one cup of Crio Brew in the drip coffee maker. I really didn't want to go through that with my second purchase of Crio Brew. I have stopped using the drip pot. I use a stove top coffee perculator. Now! There's a cup of Crio Brew worth drinking. Trust me! If you're reading this review and want to try this out, buy a stove top perculator. You only need 1/4 cup of Crio Brew. Let this Brew good ๐ ๐ and you will not need to make anything else. Add a little creamer and butter, if that's your thing ๐ so tasty!

Great chocolate alternative to coffee!
Not my favorite flavor of Crio Bru but still tasty as always! Definitely worth a try.

This is Tasty Stuff
You've really got to follow the instruction for brewing. I like to prepare this in a French press, but you need to let it steep for longer than you would coffee. The flavor is like hot chocolate, but more adult. That is to say, it isn't sweet at all, obviously. But if you love chocolate, you may find yourself enjoying this unsweetened. I do not drink coffee, but a cup of this without milk or sugar tastes a little bit like coffee to me, but in a good way, ironically since I don't care for coffee. It also gives me a bit of a wake-up buzz, though it's not caffeinated. Chocolate contains theobromine, which is chemically similar to caffeine, which often makes me feel jittery or anxious. This doesn't do that. It's makes a comforting brew, especially blended with some milk.

Great Alternative to Coffee
Soooo good! I'm trying to cut out coffee and just bought this for the first time. I use a pour-over which works as well but loses its hotness since I need to steep it for a bit. But it is fantastic. I ended up reusing the grounds for a second cup doing the same process again, it was a bit weaker but allowed me to get full use out of it.

Nice flavor but poor value
The flavor is there, but it's still very weak. I've tried brewing in a K-cup, espresso machine and french press. It tastes more like a strong chocolate tea, rather than the strong flavor you get with coffee. With a k-cup: Under-extracted and weak flavor. Espresso machine: Jammed the filter, barely got more than 1/3 of an espresso cup worth. French press: worked best, but needed a LOT of grounds (6 TBS for 12 fl.oz of water), was also clogging the filter. I may try a small batch and grind it down even finer to see if I can get it to work with the espresso machine again, but honestly, the value is really poor, 5 tablespoons to get a watery cocoa, is pretty expensive. Gonna try for a cold brew, and maybe milk extraction and see how that goes. As much as I enjoy this, It'll be rare if I get this again, it just costs too much for what you can do with it.
