Simple and powerful enough
I got this because I just needed a cheap option to blend some frozen acai to make my own home acai bowls, I haven't bought the huge "professional" blenders that come with those tamper plungers for years because I never need to make that much of anything anymore. I like that this is powerful enough to create a smoothie consistency by blending frozen fruit without needing a lot of liquid. It's a press down to operate which is similar to the magic bullet that I have too. There are some minor things I would change but overall for the price it is simple and works great and also looks better and sleeker than the magic bullet.

A Nice Little Blender... With One Annoying Fault
I have a standard-size blender - also from Bella - which has served me well for several years. But it's not ideal for small jobs. (Think of it like using a 10# sledge to drive thumb tack.) So, when I saw Bella also offered a small-job blender at an attractive price, I went for it. It's designed well, seems to be of good quality, and does an excellent job. There's just one problem: Seating the blade assembly on the base is tricky. It won't seat unless the driver coupling is seated exactly right, and it can take 3 or 4 tries to get the coupling aligned. It's not enough to make me return the product, but it does cost the review one star. Otherwise, it's a nice little blender.
